The compulsory education art curriculum standards promulgated in April 2022 emphasize the importance of aesthetic education and put forward the nature of the curriculum,which "insists on educating people with beauty,beautifying them with beauty,moistening their hearts with beauty,and cultivating them with beauty".Elementary school singing class is one of the main forms of music education for students,and it is also the main way to implement aesthetic education.The teacher’s teaching and the students’ learning in the classroom are particularly important for the formation of students’ core musical literacy.This study is based on the 2022 edition of the Compulsory Education Arts Curriculum Standards,a comparative analysis of the changes from the 2011 edition to the 2022 edition of the new curriculum standards,and a case study of an elementary school in Shanxi Province,in which we conducted a field investigation and analysis of the current situation of singing teaching in music classes and related aspects,and put forward ideas for reforming music teaching methods and teaching activities.Specifically,it can be divided into the following:The main framework of the whole paper is divided into four chapters,mainly including the introduction,the interpretation of the 2022 edition of the new curriculum regarding the music part,the analysis of the current situation and problems of singing teaching in elementary school music classes,and the study of countermeasures for singing teaching in elementary school music classes under the new curriculum.The first introductory chapter analyzes in detail the background of this study,the significance of the study,the research method,and the current status of domestic and international research.The second chapter interprets the music section of the new 2022 edition of the curriculum,analyzes the main changes in the music section of the new 2022 edition compared to the 2011 edition of the music curriculum,and analyzes the basic requirements of the new curriculum for singing teaching in elementary school and the specific requirements for song selection in elementary school music textbooks.The third chapter analyzes the current situation and problems of singing teaching in elementary school music class,which is mainly a case study of an elementary school singing class in Shanxi Province.Through the work of classroom listening,students’ questionnaires and teachers’ interviews,the problems and shortcomings of singing teaching in elementary school music class are analyzed and derived.In the fourth chapter of the study on the countermeasures of singing teaching in elementary school music class under the new standards,in response to the above problems and shortcomings,the author proposes targeted improvement strategies,including attaching importance to singing teaching and organizing singing activities;flexibly using teaching methods for different sections of the class,using game teaching to enrich students’ singing experiences,attaching importance to the cultivation of students’ core literacy;opening school-based courses The aim is to stimulate students’ interest in folk music.The aim is to provide theoretical reference for future singing teaching,to better promote the formation of students’ core literacy,and to effectively improve the teaching quality of elementary school music teaching.
