| Report of the 20 th National Congress of the CPC points out that "employment is the most basic livelihood" "implement the employment priority strategy" "strengthen the employment priority policy,improve the employment promotion mechanism,and promote high-quality full employment".This year’s government work report also proposed to implement the implementation of the employment priority policy,to promote the employment of young people,especially college graduates in a more prominent position,and effectively protect the basic livelihood.With the expansion of higher vocational colleges and universities in recent years,the number of higher vocational students has increased dramatically and the employment problem has become increasingly prominent.Therefore,it is crucial to strengthen the employment guidance for higher vocational students and innovate the way of career planning education for higher vocational students to realize the national orientation of vocational education to cultivate high-quality and highly skilled talents.In order to explore the new path of career planning education for higher vocational students,this study is based on the concept of social work,taking the students of Chongqing C Vocational College(hereinafter referred to as C school)as the research object and analyzing the current situation of career planning of C school students by using questionnaires and interviews.At the same time,under the guidance of social learning theory and role theory,the study conducted the "Building Dreams for the Future" career planning group under the concept of "helping people to help themselves",using the professional social work methods and techniques to help higher vocational students understand themselves correctly,enhance their self-confidence,and raise their awareness of career planning.In this way,we help senior students to understand themselves correctly,enhance their self-confidence,improve their awareness of career planning,enhance their ability of career planning,and clarify their life goals in line with their own reality.Research Findings,higher vocational students have unclear self-understanding,insufficient self-confidence,weak awareness of career planning,insufficient planning motivation and ability,and higher vocational institutions do not pay enough attention to career planning education,and the education is single and vague.It is also found that career planning education should run through the whole process of higher vocational students’ education,which requires the coordination and cooperation of multiple parties,the establishment of school social work service mechanism,and the construction of social,school and family support system.The study shows that it is practical and feasible to introduce social work in career planning education for higher vocational students,which can not only solve the problems encountered by higher vocational students in career planning in a targeted way,but also open up a new path of career planning for higher vocational institutions.Finally,we also reflect on the shortcomings of the study and put forward the suggested countermeasures to promote the career planning of higher vocational students in order to promote the high quality employment of higher vocational students. |
