| With the implementation of the "Double Reduction" policy in 2021,after-school services have been launched in most compulsory education schools across the country,and various regions are exploring after-school service models.After-class services have become a hot topic of social concern once again.Although some regions in China attach great importance to it and adopt certain strategies and methods to improve the quality of after-school services,which has alleviated this dilemma to some extent,the practical process of solving this dilemma is far from meeting the requirements of the people.There are also many issues to be explored and studied in after-school services and after-school service management.Currently,research on after-school services focuses more on the content and form of after-school services,while there is less research on after-school service management,which is an important factor in improving the quality of after-school services.In order to deeply understand the after-school service management situation of rural primary schools,this study selects S Primary School in Jiangxia District,Wuhan City as the research object,and conducts in-depth analysis of the after-school service management situation of S Primary School in the form of questionnaires and interviews,With a view to understanding the current situation of after-school service management in rural primary schools,discovering the problems existing in the after-school service management process in rural primary schools,identifying the causes of the problems,and on this basis,proposing strategies to improve the after-school service management in rural primary schools.The study found that there are certain problems in the management of after-school services in rural primary schools in the four stages of planning,implementation,inspection,and handling.The problems in the planning stage include unclear goals for after-school services and unreasonable scheduling of after-school services for students;The problems in the implementation stage include low enthusiasm of teachers in after-school services,insufficient material resources and low utilization rate of after-school services,single and lack of continuity in after-school services,and insufficient innovation in organizational forms of after-school services;The problems in the inspection stage include the lack of continuous supervision of after-school services by schools,and the lack of evaluation and effective feedback on after-school services by schools;The problems in the processing stage include the lack of summary and continuous improvement of after-school services by schools,and insufficient incentives for teachers by school administrators.The reasons for the inefficiency of after-school service management in rural primary schools are analyzed from the perspectives of schools,teachers,and students.The main problems include: inadequate school management systems,insufficient attention paid by school leaders to after-school services,limited financial and human resources invested by schools in after-school services,deviations in teachers’ perceptions of after-school services,and heavy workload on teachers and the need to improve their professional quality There are many reasons for students’ lack of correct understanding of after-school services and students have weak self-control ability.In order to improve the management of after-school services in rural primary schools,some improvement strategies are proposed: strengthen the management of the planning stage of after-school services,clarify the objectives of after-school services,and optimize the management of after-school service time;Strengthen the implementation stage management of after-school services,fully utilize school resources,actively encourage extracurricular resources to participate in after-school services in rural primary schools,and improve the organization and coordination ability of after-school services in schools;Implement the management of after-school service inspection stage,implement continuous supervision of after-school service,strengthen after-school service feedback,and establish a multifaceted and multi-agent after-school service evaluation system;Pay attention to the management of after-school service processing stage,timely improve after-school services,continuously iterate and upgrade,innovate incentive measures,etc. |
