Research On Strategies For Improving The Information Service Level Of University Archives

With the continuous improvement of the level of economy and science and technology,the public’s awareness of information and archives is gradually enhanced,and they also pursue a higher level and high level of archival information services,but also look forward to two-way participation in the process of archival information services.And this to the traditional passive response type of archival information service level of the improvement of the new requirements,to the development of archival information service to give a source of power.University archives,an important part of the archives enterprise in our country,are the full-time organization for the custody of them and shoulder the important duty of providing information service.On the basis of constructing a qualitative evaluation index system to measure the information service level of college archives,this paper takes the archives of public colleges in Shandong province as the research object to conduct an empirical study,clarify the current difficulties and reasons of archives information service of public undergraduate colleges and universities in Shandong province,and explore strategies to improve the information service level of college archives.This paper intends to introduce a national standard "General Principles of Service Quality Evaluation"(GB/T 36733-2018)and adjust and optimize it based on the actual situation of university archives to construct a qualitative evaluation index system of information service level of tertiary university archives.At the same time,based on the evaluation index system,the detailed data of archives of 46 public undergraduate colleges and universities in Shandong Province were obtained through network investigation and analysis from the official websites and 11 wechat public platforms.Furthermore,the deep-level data acquisition is carried out through the combination of questionnaire survey and telephone interview with the person in charge of information service of university archives.The author believes that archives of public universities in Shandong Province have different problems in three dimensions:information service resources,information service process and information service results.That is,the quantity and quality of information resources are not equal to the demand,the publicity situation is not optimistic,the comprehensive quality of talents is not high,the security of information service needs to be improved,the humanistic care needs to be enhanced,the feedback channels need to be expanded and the satisfaction of information service is low.Finally,the author puts forward strategies to improve the information service level of university archives from three directions:strengthening the construction of resources,paying attention to the process management of service and improving the service result.
