Since the 18th Party Congress,China has entered a new era of socialism. With the continuous development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the deepening of education reform, the teaching profession has gained more and more attention from society, and the professional pressure on teachers has been increasing. As a result, attention to the occupational stress of teachers as a group has become imminent. The pressure felt by teachers as a result of professional demands and standards is known as teacher stress. The right amount of stress can provide motivation for teachers’ development and facilitate their professional development. On the other hand,if it is too much,it can have a negative impact on teachers. It hinders teachers’ own development and makes it difficult for them to feel the sense of achievement and good experiences that the profession brings. In this study, based on the review of a large amount of literature,a basic survey on the occupational stress of young teachers in rural primary schools in County M was conducted using questionnaires and interviews.SPSS software was used to analyse the data in order to draw the conclusion that there is a high level of occupational stress among young teachers in rural primary schools in County M.According to the survey,85.48%of young teachers in rural primary schools in County M felt more stressful, while only 14.52%of young teachers in rural primary schools in County M felt little occupational stress. In this study, the feelings of occupational stress among young teachers in rural primary schools in County M were analysed in terms of professional level, gender, position, subject taught, marital status and job title. The study found that:the occupational stress of young male teachers in rural primary schools was greater than that of young female teachers in rural primary schools;the lower the education level, the greater the occupational stress of young teachers in rural primary schools;the occupational stress of young teachers in married rural primary schools was greater than that of young teachers in unmarried rural primary schools;the occupational stress of young teachers in rural primary schools who were classroom teachers was greater than that of other teachers;the occupational stress of teachers who taught the main subject was greater than that of teachers who taught The higher the title, the lower the occupational pressure felt by young teachers in rural primary schools. In addition, interviews with teacher representatives were conducted to analyse the specific causes of occupational stress among young teachers in rural primary schools from different perspectives, including professional level, gender and position, marital status, subjects taught, and job title. Finally,by analysing and integrating the main factors affecting the occupational stress of young teachers in rural primary schools, measures to alleviate the excessive occupational stress of young teachers in rural primary schools are proposed at three levels:personal, school management and social.
