The professional happiness of rural teachers affects the living and working conditions of teachers,and is a key factor affecting the stability of rural teachers.Young teachers have become the main force of rural teachers.Therefore,improving the professional happiness of young teachers in rural areas is helpful to stimulate the enthusiasm of young teachers in life and work,which is of great significance to the construction of rural teachers.At present,the level of professional well-being of young rural teachers in some areas is not high,and the existing research has not paid enough attention to the professional well-being of young rural teachers.Therefore,this paper focuses on the group of young teachers in rural areas,discusses the factors affecting their professional happiness,and provides theoretical basis and reference for improving the professional happiness of young teachers in rural areas.Based on the above background,this study takes ERG needs theory as the theoretical basis and analysis perspective,and takes salary satisfaction,interpersonal relationship perception and career development space as the main variables to construct the influencing factor model of rural young teachers ’ professional well-being,and to explore the relationship between rural young teachers ’ professional well-being and its influencing factors.In this study,questionnaires and interviews were used to investigate the occupational well-being of young rural teachers in H County,Jiangxi Province.A total of 360 valid questionnaires and 12 interview records were collected.The structural equation model was used to verify the relationship between salary satisfaction,interpersonal relationship perception and career development space on the occupational well-being of young rural teachers.The results show that :(1)The overall occupational well-being of young teachers in rural areas is above the middle level and needs to be further enhanced.(2)Salary satisfaction,interpersonal relationship perception and career development space are significantly positively correlated with the occupational well-being of rural young teachers.(3)The influence path coefficient of career development space on rural young teachers ’ professional well-being is the largest,followed by salary satisfaction,and the influence path coefficient of interpersonal relationship perception on rural young teachers ’ professional well-being is the smallest.(4)Pay satisfaction and interpersonal relationship not only have a direct positive impact on the career happiness of rural young teachers,but also have a positive impact on it through the intermediary role of career development space.(5)The factors affecting the professional well-being of young teachers in rural areas are characterized by leapfrogging and’ frustration-return ’.Career development space is the key factor affecting the professional well-being of young teachers in rural areas.The salary in the survival needs is not only the guarantee for teachers to pursue high-quality life,but also the compensation for the lack of relationship needs and growth needs.In order to improve the professional happiness of young teachers in rural areas and stabilize the rural teachers,this study puts forward the following suggestions : broaden the channels of career development and enhance the space of teachers ’ career development;improve the salary guarantee system and improve teachers ’ salary satisfaction;create a good working atmosphere and build a harmonious interpersonal relationship;respect the characteristics of young people,pay attention to the development of young teachers in rural areas.
