| With the continuous innovation of social management and the continuous promotion of social construction in China,social work,as an emerging professional force,is gradually penetrating into various public service fields of society.School social work,one of the important practice areas of social work,plays an important role in solving youth socialization problems,cultivating sound personality of youth and promoting healthy growth of youth.Therefore,the less developed regions in western China are also committed to the development of school social work and actively introduce social work professionals to the school field.However,in reality,the development of school social work in less developed western regions is not smooth,and many challenges and difficulties are hindering the development of school social work.Therefore,based on the author’s professional practice in Luming School in Yunnan Province,this study explores the real-life dilemmas faced by social work in Luming School from a social work system perspective,and tries to propose targeted strategies to break through the dilemmas in an empowering way by combining specific school social work practices.The study found that:due to the low level of professionalism of the local social work talent team,social workers in the change media system are faced with the problems of insufficient staff and weak capacity;in practice,foreign social workers adopt the service strategy of forming teacher empowerment groups to empower school teachers,improve their professional capacity,and forge school social work talents for the local community.Facing the situation that teachers and students in the target system know little about the profession,they provide personalized services for teachers and students and publicize these services to change the understanding and perception of the profession among the service recipients.Schools in the target system are constrained by a lack of systems and resources to develop a social work environment;in this regard,we are building and developing school social work stations as internal organizations that link multiple resources,thus promoting the participation and support of society,families,schools,teachers and students.Teachers in the action system are the main collaborators of foreign social workers,and the conflict in philosophy and roles between the two sides is not conducive to the full play of the action system’s role;therefore,the school social work station is used as a grip to coordinate the work of various system subjects within the action system in which to promote in-depth cooperation and positive interaction between the two sides,leading to the stability of the whole system,guaranteeing the sustainability of local school social work services,and realizing the school’s "self-help".Based on the study,it is found that the four basic systems of social work face various practical dilemmas in promoting the practice of school social work.The practical strategies around using the school social work station as a service platform,strengthening the cultivation of teachers as professionals,providing and publicizing diversified services,integrating multiple resources inside and outside the school,and creating a cooperative team of social workers and teachers can effectively cope with the dilemmas and systematically promote Luming The strategies such as strengthening the cultivation of teachers as professionals,providing and publicizing diversified services,integrating multiple resources inside and outside the school,and building a cooperative team between social workers and teachers can effectively address the difficulties,systematically promote the local roots of school social work,and promote the institutionalization and standardization of school social work services. |
