In the important speech at the National Education Conference,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed the importance of "establishing the concept of health-first education,providing adequate physical education classes,and helping students to enjoy physical exercise,strengthen their physique,develop a sound personality and refine their will".Various documents have been issued to set up work around the "four-in-one" objective and establish a new physical education teaching model.For the new physical education teaching model,Article 7 of the Opinions of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Physical Education in the New Era clearly gives the requirement: "A model for teaching physical education in schools should be gradually improved in the three areas of ’health knowledge + basic motor skills + specific motor skills’." In these three areas,the requirements of "teaching,practising and often competing" are to be fully implemented to improve the effectiveness of school physical education.The aim of introducing a mixture of PBL(Problem-Based Learning)and TBL(Team-Based Learning)into the teaching of optional football courses in higher education is to improve the overall effect of teaching PE in schools and to form a new model of high-quality PE classroom teaching.In this thesis,the students of the football optional course of Guangxi XX Vocational and Technical Institute in the class of 2021 were taken as the research subjects.A 12-week experimental study on the teaching effect of the "PBL+TBL mixed teaching mode" was conducted through the methods of literature,interview and experiment.Students in two classes of the football optional course of Guangxi XX Vocational and Technical Institute in class 2021 were randomly selected for the experimental study.The experimental study was conducted with the "PBL+TBL mixed teaching mode"(experimental group)and the traditional teaching mode(control group)respectively to analyze the impact of the "PBL+TBL mixed teaching model" on students’ basic and specific athletic skills in an optional football course in higher vocational education.Major findings:1.In terms of velocity explosion,the average test scores of the experimental group and the control group at 50 meters after the experiment were 7.6 and 7.4,with the mean scores of 30.01±4.41 and 31.13±3.71,respectively,and the P value was0.280(P>0.05).The average test scores of standing long jump were 244 cm and231cm,and the mean scores were 15.62±3.31 and 14.28±2.40,respectively,with a P value of 0.072(P>0.05).2.In terms of endurance events,the average test scores of the experimental group and the control group at 1000 meters after the experiment were 3:50 and 4:06,and the average scores were 30.56±4.73 and 26.35±5.65,respectively,with a P value of 0.002(P<0.01).3.In terms of special techniques,the average scores of the experimental group and the control group at the front side of the instep after the experiment were 2.97±0.1,2.39±0.76,and the average number of points for dribbling around the stick were15.24±2.86,13.31±3.67,and the mean scores of the kicks were 13.13±2.20,11.58±3.34,and the mean scores of small venues were 23.00±2.94 and 21.35±2.44 respectively.The P values were 0.008(P<0.01),0.024(P<0.05),0.035(P<0.05)and0.020(P<0.05),respectively.4.In terms of special physical fitness,the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group at line run after the experiment were 14.79±0.67 and14.48±1.47,respectively,and the P value was 0.296(P>0.05).5.The total scores of the experimental group and the control group at the total score of basic motor skills in football were 76.20±6.55 and 71.60±8.96,respectively,and the P value was 0.025(P<0.05);The total scores of football special motor skills were 68.03±5.41 and 63.11±4.68,respectively,and the P value was 0.001(P<0.01).After analyzing the experimental results,the following conclusions are drawn:1.In terms of learning basic motor skills in football,the TBL+PBL mixed teaching model is more applicable to the teaching of endurance events compared to the traditional teaching model with an increase in the amount of training and physical fitness of students as the classroom is extended outwards.2.The TBL+PBL mixed teaching mode is applicable to the teaching of football technical items as there is a significant improvement in the athletic performance of special sports skills in technical football such as frontal reversal of the ball on the back of the foot and dribbling around the pole,which are noticeably higher than the athletic performance of the traditional teaching mode with a significant difference in the teaching effect.3.There is no significant difference between the teaching effect of the TBL+PBL mixed teaching mode and that of the traditional teaching mode in the explosive and speed physical events such as the furlong run,50 m and standing long jump.4.The overall teaching effect of the TBL+PBL mixed teaching model which is applicable to the teaching and development of optional football courses in higher vocational education is significantly better than the traditional teaching model with a significant difference in the overall performance of students in both basic football motor skills and football specific motor skills.
