At present, the higher vocational education of our country has been developing very fast since 1990. It has trained many kinds of specialists for our socialist modernization drive, has improved the labor's quality and has been playing an important part in developing advanced socialist culture and ideology, improving the society and developing our economics. In vocational education, the position of moral education is being paid more and more attention. However, the present moral education of higher institutes does not only face the research into the common problems of morality but also their special problems. How to improve the morality education is still an important task for morality educators.The paper is based on the purpose of morality improvement, proving it at all levels. I tried to seek the ways to improve morality education from three aspects: The first part is about the purpose, characteristics and meanings of fostering college students in vocational institutes. The second part is about the existing present state of college students'morality education and reason analysis. The third part is about the ways of how to improve the present state of college students'morality education. The following is in details:Part I Explaining the purpose, characteristics and meanings of fostering college students in vocational institutes. First, I refer to the purpose of fostering collage students of higher vocational institutes, pointing out that we must stick to fostering students needed in producing, constructing, managing and serving areas, who have strong abilities to practice, who is much skillful with nice professional morality. I also tell the special and meaningful part of vocational education from other kinds of education areas.Part II The existing present state of college students'morality education and reason analysis. In this part, I analyze the principal and minor aspects relating to the morality education. Then I explain aspects from internal and external causes.Part III The main part of the paper. It is about how to improve the higher vocational education, facing the present state of vocational education. The paper refers to improving morality education surroundings from the morality constructing, as well as how to form morality education system with more subjects and from every aspect. It can also be the course of constructing morality theory system of different levels. But it is still a plan or a try, so there is some difficulty in practicing it in reality.The purpose of researching morality education is for how to build up morality education system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, in order to improve our present reformation and development in morality. The higher vocational education in morality plays an important part. In ten years of educating, I'm always thinking about these kinds of questions such as :"how to foster a student to become a real man?","what kind of man they will become?", Why does the level of higher vocational morality education remain low?"There is no fruitful results, but I have done them really. I hope that my doing will cause more people to research these questions and make higher vocational morality education better and better.
