The current era of information explosion promotes the reform and innovation in the field of education.In recent years,the new curriculum reform of our country advocates optimizing teacher’s teaching and students’ learning.Teachers should attach great importance to and promote the all-round development of students.As the leader of class,teachers should actively stimulate students’ thirst for knowledge in daily teaching,guide students to take the initiative to learn,and truly participate in classroom teaching.However,it is quite difficult to improve students’ participation in class under the traditional teaching mode.Therefore,teachers should explore mature teaching modes that can effectively improve students’ participation in class,so as to promote the all-round development of students.In the process of biology teaching,teachers should attach importance to cultivating students’ ability to solve problems,and gradually improve students’ ability to think deeply and solve problems in real situations.Based on the background of high requirements for talent training in the new era and the educational background of the new college entrance examination,new curriculum standards and new textbooks of high school biology,this study proposes a Problem-Based Learning(PBL)teaching model in connection with the requirements of students’ all-round development and the evaluation points of the new college entrance examination system.The characteristic of this teaching mode is to focus on the problem,and at the same time,to guide the students to in-depth analysis,and finally solve the problem.In this learning process,they will gradually cultivate their awareness of problems,promote information extraction,cooperation and communication skills.It is hoped that through the teaching practice of this study,the effect of PBL teaching model in biology teaching of senior two can be deeply analyzed,and finally it is hoped to bring some references to the curriculum reform of senior biology.First of all,this study searched and read a large number of domestic and foreign literature,to deeply understand the research status of PBL teaching model in various subject fields,summarized the characteristics of PBL teaching model and implementation steps,according to the teaching practice,combined with the subject characteristics of biology,to construct a new high school biology teaching model of PBL.Secondly,after determining the idea of research and practice,in order to fully understand the current situation of high school students’ learning biology under the current teaching mode and the application of PBL teaching mode,questionnaire and teacher interview outline are designed to carry out the status survey in the practice school.Then read the new curriculum standard,according to the characteristics of the knowledge structure of the new textbook "Steady State and Regulation",based on improving students’ knowledge level,while meeting the actual needs of teaching,choose the appropriate teaching content design teaching cases,and carry out teaching practice in the practice school.Before and after the teaching practice,SPSS26.0 was used to conduct a comparative analysis of the pre-test and post-test results of the experimental class and the control class.Finally,after the teaching practice,the results of the joint examination between the experimental class and the control class showed significant differences.Then,students in different grades of the experimental class were randomly selected and interviewed to understand their views on the PBL teaching model.After a comprehensive analysis of the effect of applying PBL teaching model to biology teaching practice,the following conclusions are drawn: PBL teaching model strengthens the communication between teachers and students and between students.PBL teaching model can effectively cultivate students’ interest in learning and good learning motivation,improve students’ scientific thinking and problem-solving ability,gradually improve students’ learning style,improve their ability of independent learning and cooperative learning.It can be seen that the application of PBL teaching model is feasible in both theory and practice of high school biology teaching.
