In recent years,the state has issued a series of policies to accelerate the informatization of vocational education,advocate the reform and innovation of vocational education and teaching,and deeply integrate the rapidly developing modern information technology into vocational education and teaching to promote the innovation of teaching modes,teaching methods and teaching evaluation.At present,the problems that secondary vocational schools urgently need to solve include outdated teaching methods,few high-quality information-based teaching resources and slow updating,and teachers’ inability to use information technology proficiently.These problems lead to the low enthusiasm of secondary vocational students to participate in classroom interaction and the poor teaching effect."Room Service and Management" is a core course of the hotel major in secondary vocational schools,and its goal is to cultivate students’ theoretical literacy and practical skills in room service.Teachers should follow up on the current problems in a timely manner and find solutions to improve the teaching effect of professional courses.By arranging and analyzing domestic and foreign literature on informatization teaching especially blended teaching research,combined with the advantages of vocational education cloud platform,and on the basis of understanding the teaching status and course characteristics of the school where the author practiced,the author carried out a vocational education cloud platform-based middle school.Design and practice of blended teaching for the course "Room Service and Management".This research mainly uses questionnaires and interviews to comprehensively understand the learning situation of the hotel students and teachers’ mastery and use of information-based teaching(including blended teaching)methods and technologies,choose the fourth,fifth and sixth chapters of the project in the course of "room service and management" as the content of the design and practice of blended teaching.In order to reflect the characteristics of blended teaching,the author refers to the relatively mature hybrid teaching design model to construct the teaching design model of the course "Room Service and Management",and uses the content of "Serving VIP Guests" to demonstrate the use of vocational education cloud.The platform carries out the teaching effect of blended teaching design and practice.The analysis of the teaching effect in this study is mainly carried out from three aspects: questionnaire survey,test scores,and platform evaluation.The results show that after the blended teaching based on the vocational education cloud platform,the students’ interest in learning and classroom participation in the course "Housekeeping and Management" have been significantly improved,and the interactive atmosphere between teachers and students and students in the classroom has also improved.It is obviously more harmonious and harmonious;in the two professional examinations conducted by the author’s school this semester,through the analysis of the results of the two examinations,it can be found that blended teaching has played a certain role in improving students’ performance.Therefore,the blended teaching design based on the vocational education cloud platform has shown a good positive effect in the course of "Room Service and Management" in secondary vocational schools,In response to these problems and deficiencies,the following five optimization suggestions are put forward:(1)Choose an blended teaching platform suitable for vocational education;(2)Optimize the teaching platform to improve compatibility,and optimize and transform platform resources;(3)Form a "old,middle,young and new" teacher sharing team,Establish and improve the co-construction and sharing mechanism of high-quality information resources;(4)Change the teaching concept of teachers;(5)Improve student assessment and evaluation standards.Blended teaching is the development direction of informatization teaching in secondary vocational schools.Under the background of normalization of Covid-19 prevention and control,blended teaching has gradually become one of the current and future main teaching modes.Course blended teaching deserves further in-depth systematic research. |
