The concept of ’ practical text ’ in Chinese teaching appeared in 2003,which means that this kind of text has begun to be valued in Chinese teaching.After the new curriculum reform,the status of practical texts has been continuously improved,which means that students have higher requirements for the reading ability of practical texts.Practical texts are closely related to our lives and are widely used in modern society.Language materials are typical,practical,contemporary and diverse,and close to students ’ lives.However,in high school Chinese teaching,practical texts are often less valued than literary texts,and students have less understanding and interest in practical texts;teachers are busy with teaching tasks in teaching,ignoring the practicality and diversity of practical texts,lack of connection and interest with life,and poor ability to master and use text content.Considering the characteristics of practical texts,the author believes that the use of situational teaching method can stimulate students ’ interest in learning.In order to improve the status of practical texts in high school Chinese teaching and make practical texts play their due role,the author will focus on ’ The application strategy of situational teaching method in practical texts ’.First of all,the author will explore the necessity of integrating situational teaching method into practical text teaching,and reasonably define the connotation of such text and situational teaching method.This paper combs the theoretical value and teaching value of personal experience,social life and subject cognitive value in practical texts,and analyzes the value of situational teaching method,so as to explore the application value of situational teaching method in practical text teaching.Secondly,based on the high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education and the People ’s Education Edition,the author sorts out the selection and classification of all practical texts in the two versions of high school Chinese textbooks,so as to better propose the strategy of applying situational teaching method in practical texts.Thirdly,the author has carried out investigation and research from the two aspects of teachers’ teaching and students ’ learning,and found the teaching and learning status of practical texts.In the form of scales,questionnaires and interviews,the author explores the real situation and shortcomings of practical texts in teachers ’ teaching methods and students ’ learning.Through data analysis and attribution analysis,the author finds out the problems existing in practical text teaching,and hopes to put forward strategies for practical text teaching from the fundamental point of view.Finally,according to the analysis and investigation,the author closely follows the actual situation of students ’ learning.From the perspective of situational teaching,this paper first puts forward the overall application strategy of situational teaching method in high school Chinese practical texts,such as : put an end to the formalization of situation creation,skillfully design life situation,stimulate students ’ interest in reading;construct activity situations,design activities in a targeted manner,and promote effective teaching of practical texts;create teacherstudent or student-student interaction situations to improve students ’ language ability.On the basis of the above,this paper puts forward the teaching strategies and teaching design of three types of practical text types with more selections in the textbooks of the People ’s Education Edition and the Ministry Edition.Through the application of these strategies and practical reflection,in order to better improve the teaching status of practical texts.
