As an important part of classical Chinese,historical biography depicts vivid historical figures,highlights a unique narrative style,and contains a long history of cultural spirit,which has always been the focus of high school students.But the current teaching of historical biography is difficult to achieve a high efficient three-dimensional state,especially in the teaching content is biased,the theory of "a Genre of Four Levels" proposed by Professor Wang Rongsheng for classical Chinese teaching can give consideration to the four aspects of classical Chinese,articles,literature and culture,and also provide a new path for the reform of historical biography teaching.So this paper will draw lessons from theory of"a Genre of Four Levels" to explore the teaching strategy of historical biography,and in an attempt to inject new vitality into high school historical biography class.The partially edited high school Chinese textbooks have been widely concerned by teachers,experts and scholars as soon as it comes out,Therefore,the author fully excavates the common characteristics of historical biography in classical Chinese,articles,literature and culture,and summarizes the significance and teaching value of historical biography.Combined with the historical biography in the Chinese papers of the college entrance examination in the past five years,the examination focuses on classical Chinese,articles,literature and culture.However,the current teaching status of history is not ideal:due to the evaluation mode,teachers’ thinking and students’ psychology,there are many problems in teaching content,teaching methods,assignment and students.Therefore,the author tries to find a new breakthrough from the concept of "a Genre of Four Levels",By enumerating the advantages of applying this concept in the teaching of historical biography,and combining with teaching practices,this paper discusses the teaching strategies of high school historical biography from four aspects:classical Chinese,articles,literature and culture.In teaching,we can return to the world of text and words in the interpretation of content words and function words,in-depth dredging of text meaning and mastering sentence breaking skills,grasps the structure of articles by clarifying functions and studying rules,feels the charm of literature in the analysis of words and sentences,appreciation of artistic techniques,understanding of thoughts and emotions,and finally inherits culture in the excavation of cultural common sense and deep cultural spirit.These four dimensions jointly construct high school history teaching strategies,hoping to maximize the teaching value.
