Background: Tennis is a very intense sport. In tennis matches, players need to return several times in a short period of time and complete the stroke on the way back.Fast hitting speed and accuracy of hitting points are the basis to ensure that players can continue to suppress opponents. The speed and accuracy of hitting are closely related to the explosive power.Relevant studies have proved that the plyometric training can improve the explosive power of lower limbs of tennis players, but the discussion on the technical index of tennis is less. Objective: This study takes the special index of the influence of plyometric training on tennis hitting speed and accuracy as the research object.Through a 6-week experimental intervention, this paper analyzes the effects of plyometric training on the accuracy of serving speed, forehand hitting speed and backhand hitting speed in duce and advantage court. Methods: according to the principle of voluntary, from Hangzhou Normal University 2018 special tennis class students recruited 16 male subjects, using randomized controlled methods the subjects were divided into experimental group and the control group, each group of eight people, the experimental group twice a week for 6 weeks plyometric training, control group twice a week for 6 weeks of regular tennis practice.During the experiment, both the experimental group and the control group were trained at the same time.During the training, the subjects did not do other training and kept their original living habits. The study used the duce court serve speed and accuracy, advantage court serve speed and accuracy, forehand speed and accuracy, backhand speed and accuracy tests as test indicators.Six weeks later, the experimental data were statistically analyzed by paired sample T-test and independent sample T-test,and the scores of batting speed and accuracy test were compared between the two groups. Results: Compared with those before intervention, the service speed, forehand hitting speed, backhand hitting speed and accuracy of the advantage court in the experimental group were significantly improved after intervention, and there were significant differences between them(P<0.05).The average serving speed of duce court increased from 123.84km/h to 132.49km/h.The average service speed of advantage court increased from 128.55km/h to 140.09km/h;Forehand hitting speed increased from 112.74km/h to 120.42km/h;The average backhand speed increased from 106.16km/h to 113.76km/h;Service accuracy in advantage court improved from0.49 to 0.66.In the control group, there were no significant changes in the serving speed, forehand hitting speed, backhand hitting speed and serving accuracy of the duce court and advantage court before and after training, and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After analyzing all the post-test data of the experimental group and the control group,it was found that there were significant differences in the service speed between the duce court and advantage court. Conclusion: Six weeks of plyometrc training can improve the serving speed, forehand hitting speed, backhand hitting speed and serving accuracy of the duce and advantage court to a certain extent. The effect of plyometric training on hitting accuracy and its mechanism still need to be further explored. In the training of tennis events,we can try to combine plyometric training to improve the athletic performance of athletes.
