The "aesthetic" value in music education is recognized as a value that must be pursued.Hegel referred to imagination as the most outstanding artistic skill.Therefore,in the development process of young children,aesthetic and imaginative abilities are cultivated simultaneously.Music appreciation activities can promote the development of children’s aesthetic imagination ability.This study aims to cultivate the aesthetic imagination ability of young children,selecting 32 freshmen from Y Kindergarten in B City,S Province as the research subjects,and selecting sophomore classes as the control class.This research is based on observation,interview and action research.In the preparation stage,pre tests were conducted on children from two classes to understand the current level of aesthetic imagination ability of children in the larger class,providing a basis for designing action plans.In the implementation stage of the research,three rounds of actions were implemented through the process of planning,action,reflection,and improvement.Different music appreciation activities were selected for each round of action,and the activity plan was improved during the planning stage before each round of action.The impact of music appreciation activities on children’s aesthetic imagination level was tested during the activity process.After the three rounds of action,analyze the results of the action and summarize how to effectively cultivate children’s aesthetic imagination ability.The research results show that the implementation of music appreciation activities can effectively improve children’s aesthetic imagination ability.There is a significant development in the diversity,emotion,and fullness of young children’s aesthetic imagination ability.The number of scenes that young children can come up with in activities is gradually increasing,which can gradually trigger a stronger emotional experience.Detailed descriptions and rich modifications can be made to the imagined scenes or images,but the creative development of aesthetic imagination ability is not significantly improved compared to the other three aspects.
