An Experimental Study On The Cultivation Of Independence Of Middle-school Children By Labor-themed Education Activities

Independence refers to the behavioral tendency of individuals to make decisions in line with moral ethics and social norms without relying on others,and to be responsible for their decisions and achieve goals through self-regulation.Children with good independence in life can do not rely on others,live on their own,have their own unique thinking and active thinking ability.Studies have shown that middle class is a critical period for children's independent development.Therefore,it is necessary to promote the development of children's independence at this stage.Labor education in kindergarten has many values and plays a certain role in promoting the development of children's independence.Therefore,this study aims to cultivate the independence of middle class children through the intervention of labor-themed education activities,in order to promote the development of children's independence.In this study,two middle classes of children in a public kindergarten in Tianjin were selected as subjects.One class was randomly selected as the experimental class and the other as the control class,and the number of children in the two classes was equal.The experimental class was subjected to labor-themed educational activities for ten weeks,while the control class was subjected to normal teaching activities.After the experiment,two classes of children were tested to test the effectiveness of labor-themed educational activities as an intervention.The results show that the independence development level of children in the experimental class after intervention is significantly higher than that of the control class on the whole,which indicates that the labor-themed education activities can promote the independence development of children in the middle class,which is obvious in the dimension of self-dependence and self-control.Therefore,this study proposes the following educational recommendations:1.Kindergartens should carry out various forms of labor-themed education activities.2.Pay attention to the promotion effect of labor-themed education activities on children's independence.3.From the perspective of self-assertion,children should be the main body in carrying out labor-themed education activities.4.In the dimension of self-dependence,we should pay attention to strengthen home co-education and form joint educational force.5.In the dimension of self-control,the cultivation of children's awareness of rules should be strengthened.
