Early childhood music appreciation education is an important part of early childhood education.Ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle believed that music directly enhanced the aesthetic perception of the aesthetic subject.Nowadays,more and more researchers have also found that music appreciation education has an important influence on the development of children's aesthetic imagination.Although most children may not become musicians in the future,the cultivation of appreciation and aesthetic imagination in the early stage can promote them to view the world with an aesthetic perspective and improve their humanistic quality,so as to promote their all-round development.Therefore,this study aims to use music appreciation activity as a medium to improve children's aesthetic imagination.In this study,60 children(30 children in the experimental group and 30 children in the control group)were randomly selected from a public kindergarten in Shanghai by the action research method.With the help of the two teachers,through the early assessment of the children's aesthetic imagination ability of the experimental group and the control group,we have an in-depth understanding of the current situation of the two groups of children.The author carried out the cycle implementation of eight large class music appreciation activities for children in the experimental group.Verify the feasibility of the activity plan in the implementation process,and constantly improve the plan through the cycle of reflection,adjustment,re-implementation,re-reflection and re-adjustment of the activity plan and process.At the same time,children in the control group carried out music teaching activities in relevant subject books.Finally,through the re-evaluation of the experimental group and control group of children's aesthetic imagination ability,to test the effect of music appreciation activities on the aesthetic imagination ability of large class children.The results show that music appreciation activity is helpful for the improvement of children's aesthetic imagination.The three aspects of emotion,fullness and diversity have been improved.Based on the research,the following conclusions are drawn: music appreciation activities have a significant role in promoting the aesthetic imagination of children in large classes.The relevant implementation Suggestions for teachers to carry out music appreciation activities to improve children's aesthetic imagination in their work are as follows.Multi-channel participation,the emotional experience will be more in-depth;Various forms of interaction constantly promote artistic thinking.
