Picture books can not only stimulate children’s interest in reading,but also promote children’s social cognition and social emotional development.Therefore,picture books are widely used in collective teaching activities in the social field of kindergartens.Then how to use picture books to better cultivate middle class children’s social cognition and emotional ability? For this reason,this paper designs and studies the application of picture books in the collective teaching activities in the social field of middle classes,hoping to improve the teaching quality of the application of picture books in the collective teaching activities in the social field of middle classes.With reciprocal determinism,Vygotsky study social construction theory and Chen Heqin social education theory as the theoretical basis,using survey methods such as questionnaire,interview method,20 kindergarten in C city general labor at the present stage preschool teachers use of picture books to carry out the social collective teaching activities in the field of teaching conditions were investigated.The survey results show that there are the following problems in the application of picture books in the middle class collective teaching activities in the social field :First,Teaching objective setting ignores the cultivation of social emotions;Second,the picture book chooses to deviate from children’s life experience;Third,the use of picture books in teaching activities dilutes the teaching theme;Fourth,the effectiveness of teachers’ questioning in the process of activity development is low.In view of the problems found in the survey,this research proposes the following countermeasures :First,the comprehensive setting of teaching objectives;Second,Life of picture book selection;Third,the completeness of picture book processing;Fourth,the inspiration of teachers’ questions.Based on the above countermeasures,this study designed the specific teaching activity process from the aspects of learning situation analysis,teaching activity theme design,teaching objective formulation,teaching content selection,picture book selection and processing,teaching process and teaching evaluation design.This study applies the designed teaching activity scheme to teaching practice and analyzes the practical effect.The results show that the application of picture books in middle class social collective teaching activities can,on the one hand,promote children’s emotional level,the ability to establish a relationship with adults,the ability to establish a relationship with other children,the ability to establish a relationship with the collective,the ability to resolve conflicts and other social levels.On the other hand,it also promotes the improvement of teachers’ teaching design and teaching ability,such as goal setting,picture book selection and processing ability,questioning level,etc.
