With the continuous development of China’s economy,the demand for highly skilled talents is increasing,and the quality and requirements of talents are improving,but there are still problems in China’s secondary vocational education such as teaching quality to be improved and imperfect quality monitoring system,which affect the quality of talent training.In this context relevant documents point out that the development of secondary vocational education should be improved,practical teaching should be strengthened,and the quality evaluation and supervision and assessment system should be improved.As an important part of vocational education and teaching activities,practical teaching is also a weak link in the implementation of quality control in secondary vocational schools.It is urgent to understand its current situation and problems,and propose improvement measures to strengthen the quality control of practical teaching.Based on collecting textual information from three schools,the study compiled interview outlines and questionnaires,surveyed practice teaching teachers and managers,sorted out the current situation of practice teaching quality monitoring from four aspects: monitoring and management system,organization and subjects,monitoring content and its methods,feedback and application of monitoring results,and analyzed its problems and causes in conjunction with the General Rules for Teaching Management in Beijing Vocational Colleges and Universities,and gave improvement countermeasures.According to the survey,the problems of practical teaching quality monitoring in secondary vocational schools include: backward ideas and imperfect system construction;The organization is imperfect,and the subject capacity needs to be improved;Standards and contents to be revised;Methods need to be added,and formal monitoring should be avoided;The feedback was not timely and the implementation was not in place.Combined with the advantages of quality monitoring in each school,PDCA theory and the fourth generation evaluation theory,the following measures are proposed: strengthen the construction of ideas and systems through supervised learning and regional exchanges;Improve rewards and punishments to mobilize teachers’ enthusiasm;Improve the monitoring organization structure;Strengthening the construction of the main body;Enrich monitoring standards and contents from the perspective of learning resources and learning process;Strengthen the monitoring and implement the whole process monitoring;Increase the information construction and timely feedback the monitoring results;Result feedback and implementation are institutionalized.The research is conducive to improving the quality control of practical teaching in secondary vocational schools and enriching the existing research on the quality control of practical teaching in secondary vocational schools.
