Awareness of the rule of law is an essential quality for students' all-round development and a necessary factor for social harmony and stability.Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC,China has clarified the guiding ideology of governing the country in accordance with the law and proposed a series of new theories and strategies.At the Fourth Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,the rule of law education has been incorporated into the national education system and entered the curriculum system of primary and secondary schools.The young people at the junior high school stage are in the critical period of physical and mental development and value shaping.The education of the awareness of the rule of law has an important role in constructing the legal knowledge framework and cultivating the students' belief in the rule of law.However,since the new political textbook "Morality and the Rule of Law" in the junior middle school has existed problems such as the ineffectiveness of the rule of law education,this article attempts to provide a new perspective for the improvement of the rule of law education in the junior high school class from a new perspective.Based on the comparative analysis of new and old political textbooks in junior high school,this article analyzes the differences in the awareness of rule of law in new and old political textbooks of junior middle school from the aspects of textbook content,presentation methods,and language style.The similarities and differences of textbook content are explained in detail from capacity and distribution.Columns,charts,colors,and other aspects explain the different ways of presentation.In terms of expression,the language of the new textbook is more plain and easy to understand,and has a life atmosphere and inspiration.Through multiple comparisons,the changes in moral and rule of law textbooks are highlighted,which is conducive to teachers' more targeted education in the awareness of the rule of law.Students can also find the differences from simple and clear comparisons and grasp the focus of studying the content of the rule of law.The emergence of new textbooks has also brought challenges to teachers.Teachers must study the core literacy of disciplines,grasp the connotation of the rule of law,and understand the hotspots of the rule of law and politics in a timely manner.They must always focus on cultivating students' rule of law thinking.Specifically,through all aspects of the new and old textbooks,For comparative analysis,teachers must formulate scientific and reasonable teaching objectives for the rule of law;integrate teaching materials,excavate materials,and enrich the content of the rule of law education;combine moral and psychological education to design the teaching of the rule of law education;make full use of modern science and technology teaching,and carry out characteristic practice activities to allow students to experience It is fun to learn;teachers must also continuously improve their own cultivation of the rule of law in teaching,and guide students to take the initiative to accept the education of the awareness of the rule of law,and cultivate the habit of thinking and thinking about the rule of law.
