Learning adaptability refers to the ability tendency of students to consciously adjust their state according to the environment,overcome learning difficulties,make learning plans,adapt to the learning environment and content,and achieve good academic performance in the process of learning.The main factors include learning attitude,learning method,learning technology and physical and mental health.Learning adaptability is one of the criteria to measure students’ learning ability.From the 1990s,Chinese experts and scholars began to pay attention to the adaptability of students’ learning in school.At present,learning maladjustment has become a common phenomenon among students in our country.High school students in adolescence,especially freshmen in senior high school,it is particularly important to solve the problem of learning maladjustment.In this study,starting from the learning adaptability of students in the first year of high school,300 freshmen in the grade of 2019 in X School of Yangjiang city were selected as the research objects.Through the questionnaire survey of Middle School Students’ Learning Status Questionnaire,60 students with the lowest scores were selected after the effective questionnaire was selected for statistical calculation.The 60 students were renumbered and divided equally into the intervention group and the control group.Of intervention group of 30 students to carry out social work intervention activities,a total of six group activities,"group,know each other","attitude,learning objective","time management,study method","to improve the environment,learning atmosphere","self-knowledge,and learn to have confidence in" and "a brand new start,set sail.Through the development of group activities,help students to know themselves,build up confidence,promote self-growth,to achieve "help others to help themselves",so as to improve learning adaptability,find learning goals,correct learning attitude,eliminate negative emotions,to achieve self-increment.After 6 group activities,the learning adaptability of the students in the intervention group was significantly improved,and their learning attitude,learning methods,learning techniques and physical and mental health were improved to different degrees.By contrast group before and after the interview,test,group satisfaction feedback,etc.As you can see,the social work intervention activities can make students learning attitude,clear goals,correct understanding of self,enhance self-confidence,improve learning adaptation,suggests using the professional social work to improve the freshman learning adaptability problem is feasible,is worth extending to the wider.
