In order to adapt to the rapid economic and technological development of the new era and the profound changes in social life,facing the new requirements of improving national quality and the quality of talents cultivation in the new era,President Xi pointed out that ideological and political work in universities should be steadily advanced.Compulsory education and high school should be more solid in ideological education,Teachers should not forget the original intention of building morality,keep in mind the mission of educating people for the Party and talents for the country,and actively explore the teaching methods of education in the new era.The ideological and political concept of the curriculum requires that the subject teaching and the ideological and political courses should be go with each other and take up the important task of students’ ideological education.Because of its particularity,junior chemistry has the characteristics of short course time and heavy course task.In this thesis,the author endeavors to provide theoretical,but more practical support for the ideological and political education in school curriculum.To maximize the educational function of the new syllabus and help students,according to the ideological and political materials in the chemistry textbooks for junior high school of the People’s Education Edition and the Shandong Science and Technology Press Edition,the author has respectively carried out statistical analysis,which showed that the ideological and political materials in such textbooks were relatively rich in themes but had little introduction and extension.These materials were not enough for teachers to conduct long-term and comprehensive guidance in the right direction for students.Therefore,this study mainly focuses on selecting materials that chemistry teachers may need in class and editing them in the form of unit topics for the convenience of teachers.This study is roughly divided into four parts.Firstly,investigation and interview of local middle schools were conducted,and it was found that too few materials brought difficulties in the implementation of ideological and political education in curriculum.Secondly,statistical analyses were performed on the ideological and political materials in the chemistry textbooks for junior high school of the People’s Education Edition and the Shandong Science and Technology Press Edition to maximize the educational function of the new syllabus and help students.Thirdly,according to the constructivism learning theory and the "zone of proximal development" theory,on the basis of a comprehensive understanding of the cognitive law of junior high school students and the educational function required by the new syllabus,a material library on ideological and political education in curriculum was established for the chemistry textbooks for junior high school of the People’s Education Edition.The library collects celebrity anecdotes,scientific historical facts,news reports,and other materials that educate people and organizes them in the form of unit topics.Fourthly,by designing teaching plans with the selected materials,implementing them in classroom,and checking the learning effect of students,suggestions were made on the use of the material library and the selection of materials based on the results.
