The second-level leapfrog jump project is one of the important indicators to evaluate students’ jumping ability, which puts forward high requirements for lower limb strength and coordination, and its performance is closely related to the articulation stage between the two jumps. The progressive deep jump long jump exercise is based on the vector theory of deep jump practice and the principle of project specificity, and the load and practice form of the deep jump long jump exercise are closer to the characteristics of the project by adding progressive load and spacing changes,so as to meet the needs of strength training of the secondary frog jump event.Through the in-depth study of the secondary frog jumping practice,it is found that the previous secondary frog jump exercise mostly focuses on the exercise of muscle restraint contraction, while the student’s lower limb muscle concession work ability is easy to be overlooked, how to develop the lower limb muscle concession work ability and convert it into distance improvement in the secondary frog jump, this study is studied from the progressive deep jump long jump exercise.Through the collation and analysis of the data collected before and after the experiment, the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The progressive deep and long jump exercises designed according to the technical characteristics of the second leapfrog connection stage can effectively improve the students’ lower limb explosive power, improve the students’ second leapfrog technical movements, make the connection of the two jumps more reasonable and effective, and improve the distance of the second leapfrog, mainly by improving the distance of the second jump.(2)Progressive deep and long jump exercises can develop students’ lower limb muscles regressive work ability and control the range of motion of lower limb joints;Shorten the action time of the transition stage, mainly to shorten the buffer stage time;Reduce the height of the body’s center of gravity to maintain horizontal speed and improve coherence and coordination during the articulation phase.(3)Movement 1 of the progressive deep jump exercises is closer to the characteristics of the second-level leapfrog, which makes the lower limb explosive power obtained by students more specialized.Action 2 deep jump single foot long jump practice can effectively improve the stability of students in the connecting stage, avoid unbalanced power and body shaking affecting the jumping performance, and develop the explosive power of weak lower extremities.(4)The progressive deep and long jump exercises designed in this research mainly combine the specific principle and overload principle of strength training principles, and gradually increase the load on the premise of ensuring the technical characteristics,so as to meet the requirements of the special strength training of the second-level leapfrog events, and can be used as a supplementary means for the special strength training of the second-level leapfrog.
