Research On The Optimization Of Basketball Specialized Courses For Physical Education Majors In Colleges And Universities In Hubei Province

With the deepening of education reform,the orientation of talent training in colleges has changed.In 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the National Standards for the Teaching Quality of Undergraduate Majors in Colleges and Universities,which adjusted the training target of physical education majors to application-oriented talents.As one of the main courses of physical education majors,basketball courses shoulder the important task of training physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools.How to optimize basketball courses to meet the actual needs of social development is a problem that the physical education workers in Hubei Province and even the whole country need to solve.In this paper,the basketball specialized courses of physical education major in colleges and universities in Hubei Province are taken as the research object,and the current situation of basketball specialized courses of physical education major in 9 colleges and universities,including Central China Normal University,is investigated and studied by using the research methods such as literature data method.Based on the guidance of relevant documents and teaching syllabuses of physical education major,the optimization suggestions for basketball specialized courses are put forward.The research results are as follows:1.The training orientation of physical education professionals in colleges and universities in Hubei Province is mainly applied talents,senior specialized talents,compound physical education talents and physical education teachers.Most of the colleges and universities are positioned as senior specialized talents,which is different from the national applied talents training objectives.2.The goals of basketball courses are basically in line with the professional goals,but the goals of basketball courses in some colleges and universities are not perfect,and there is no clear goal for the cultivation of skill level.The theoretical curriculum goals and curriculum ideological and political goals of some colleges and universities are general,and the compatibility with the professional training goals is low.3.The total number of hours of basketball courses for physical education majors in colleges and universities in Hubei Province meets the required number of hours.The proportion of hours allocated and the opening time of classes are different among colleges and universities.4.The teaching methods and organizational forms are single;the teaching methods of theoretical courses are mainly based on teacher spoon-feeding;the practical courses are mainly based on traditional teaching methods;the utilization rate of multimedia teaching methods is low and limited to the teaching of theoretical courses;and the teaching materials of basketball courses are not uniform.5.The assessment subject and method of basketball specialized courses are single,the assessment subject is mainly teacher evaluation,the evaluation method is mainly terminal evaluation,and the assessment content is much the same with little difference.The assessment structure mainly consists of two structures: "ordinary score + theoretical score + technical score + skill score" and "ordinary score + final score".The phenomena of light processes.6.The overall teaching environment is good,with ample outdoor space and relatively tight indoor space;Old teaching equipment,insufficient auxiliary equipment;The class size is reasonable.Teachers can meet the teaching needs,but the number and way of in-service training for teachers are few.The students’ basketball foundation is weak before entering the school,and most of them are non-basketball special students.
