With the reform and development of Chinese education,the reform and development of physical education is processing accordingly.People’s physical condition also receives more and more attention,which is closely related to the quality of physical education.Physical education curriculum is the main part of physical education and the core of teaching.Therefore,in order to improve the quality and efficiency in physical education,it is important to set up scientific,rational and effective sports courses.Physical education evaluation is an important standard to examine teaching effects and the completion of teaching tasks.The evaluation of basketball skill tests plays a significant role in teachers’ skill teaching and students’ skill learning.However,the research finds that there are still existing limitations on the evaluation of basketball specialized course skill tests for physical education majors,which cannot meet the demands of basketball specialized course teaching.Hence,the thesis is to make a study on the content of basketball specialized course skill tests in order to improve its evaluation system.The thesis,by means of literature review,questionnaires,expert interviews and tests,takes the content of the basketball specialized course skill tests for physical education majors in Shenyang Sports University as a studying object,and makes a study and analysis on it;according to the limitations in the basketball specialized course skill tests,the thesis puts up with a set of effective evaluation system.The results can be shown as follows.1.The content of the basketball specialized course skill tests for physical education majors in Shenyang Sports University is not comprehensive.Therefore,passing and catching,defense movement and the actual competition are added into the optimized skill tests.Meanwhile,the thesis optimizes the basketball specialized course skill tests from the three aspects: shooting,dribbling and combination technology.2.After the optimization,the content of the basketball specialized course skill tests for physical education majors in Shenyang Sports University consists of six parts.(1)Shooting: one and a half minutes’ stop shooting and one minute’s intensity shooting test.(2)Dribbling: the full-court comprehensive dribbling test.(3)Passing and catching: the test of passing and catching by moving;(4)Defense movement: the defense movement test.(5)Combination technology: comprehensive shooting and dribbling skills and actual simulation test about the full-court offense and defense.(6)Actual competition: the full-court one-to-one,half-court three-to-three,full-court five-to-five offense and defense practical tests.3.The approach of combining skill evaluation with qualified standard is applied into the basketball specialized course skill tests for physical education majors in Shenyang Sports University.In the actual-competition test,the winning and losing factors are included in the scoring system.The level of the actual combat is quantified.The subjective evaluation and the objective evaluation are combined and qualification standard and skill standard are set up.4.There is a significant correlation between basketball specialized course teachers’ subjective ranking to students’ practical competition and their score ranking in the skill test.The higher teachers’ subjective ranking is,the higher students’ total skill scores rank.Therefore,the optimized skill test evaluation system can reflect students’ actual level of basketball skills in the competition.
