The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China points out that giving priority to education,science and technology,and talents is the fundamental and strategic support for comprehensively building socialist modernization.This discussion reflects the fundamental role of building a strong education country in the construction of a strong science and technology country and a strong talent country.In order to focus on the characteristics of the new era,implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people,follow the laws of education and teaching,and develop quality education,the country has promulgated the "Standard 2022 for Physical Education and Health Courses in Compulsory Education." The educational needs need to be further defined as "who cultivates people,who cultivates them,and how to cultivate them.".The Ministry of Education clearly stated in the "Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform" that in the process of talent cultivation,universities must take the specific needs of the new curriculum as the starting point for training teachers in basic education schools.The physical education major in universities in Hubei Province has shown a good momentum in the development of disciplines.In terms of physical education talent cultivation,efforts have been made to provide excellent physical education teachers for schools in the compulsory education stage.Through innovative talent cultivation programs,clear training objectives,strict graduation requirements,optimized curriculum settings,innovative educational practices,and other content,the quality of trained physical education professionals has been improved,while determining whether they meet the specific needs of the new curriculum standards.Under the background of the "new course standard",the optimization path of the physical education professional training program in Hubei Province is studied,which not only meets the needs of the training of physical education professionals in colleges and universities in the new era,but also helps to effectively connect physical education in basic education schools with the new curriculum standard.This study took the training program of physical education professionals in eight ordinary colleges and universities in Hubei Province as the research object,and used the literature method,survey method,text analysis method,comparative analysis method and mathematical statistics method to carry out relevant research,found that the connection between the physical education professional talent training program and the new course standard was insufficient,and the existing problems were analyzed according to the shortcomings,the causes of the problems were explored,and then specific optimization strategies were proposed,which provided an important basis for the training program of physical education professionals in Hubei Province,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The content of the new curriculum standard is mainly to adhere to the concept of "health first",emphasize the cultivation of students’ core literacy,require students to master basic sports ability,enhance students’ physical health,teachers should scientifically formulate teaching requirements,and effectively guide exercise;In terms of changes,the main changes are that after the promulgation of the new curriculum standard,physical education and health courses have become the third major subject,and the content of physical education courses has been broadened,emphasizing "sports people" and paying attention to the individual differences of students;In terms of requirements,teachers need to change traditional teaching concepts,use physical education classrooms to strengthen moral education,and teachers should learn emerging sports and follow up interdisciplinary learning.(2)The training program for physical education professionals in eight colleges and universities in Hubei Province provides basic services for primary and secondary school physical education teachers in terms of training goals,and the training goals are mainly applied physical education talents;In terms of graduation requirements,it basically covers the basic qualities required by physical education professionals in the new era;The curriculum system follows the old three-stage curriculum system;Most institutions do not pay enough attention to the practice of education.(3)Under the background of the new curriculum standard,the training program of physical education professionals in eight colleges and universities in Hubei Province has the following shortcomings: the training goal is abstract and lacks individualization;Graduation requirements are not specific and lack school characteristics;The content of the course is outdated and lacks the characteristics of the times;Educational practice is single and lacks multiple practices.The main reasons for these deficiencies are: contradictions in social needs,lagging concepts,outdated curriculum content,and imperfect supervision and evaluation systems.(4)Under the background of the new curriculum standard proposed in this study,the optimization paths for the training of physical education professionals in Hubei Province are:strengthening the reform of OBE teaching philosophy,and formulating training goals based on social needs;Improve the graduation requirements according to the type of institution,taking into account the characteristics of the school;Improve the structure system of physical education courses and enrich the content of the era of physical education courses;Increase cooperation with primary and secondary schools and expand the practical ability of physical education professionals.
