| With the gradual improvement of relevant national policies and the need for high-quality development of higher vocational institutions,teachers’ enterprise practice has gradually been emphasized.In 2016,the Regulations on Enterprise Practice for Teachers in Vocational Schools issued by seven departments,including the Ministry of Education,stated that "teachers of professional courses in vocational schools(including internship instructors)must accumulate no less than six months every five years to enterprises or Production and service line practice".Teachers are one of the important subjects of enterprise practice,and their motivation to participate in enterprise practice has an important influence on the quality of practice.By improving the research on teachers’ motivation to participate in enterprise practice,it is conducive to enriching the theoretical system of teachers’ enterprise practice and providing new ideas to improve the effect of teachers’ enterprise practice.Based on the perspective of self-determination theory,this study focuses on teachers’ enterprise practice and investigates the motivation of higher vocational teachers’ participation in enterprise practice and its influencing factors.The study firstly compares and reviews the relevant literature on teachers’ motivation to participate in enterprise practice,so as to lay the foundation for the subsequent research.This study mainly adopts the literature research method,questionnaire and interview method,and the core content contains the following five parts:The first part is conceptual definition and theoretical basis.This part focuses on the main concepts of the study,i.e.,the concept and connotation of teachers’ enterprise practice and motivation.Based on the clarification of the concepts,the theoretical perspective of this study,self-determination theory,is analyzed and its implications for this study are introduced in detail.The second part investigates the motivation of higher vocational teachers to participate in enterprise practice and the factors influencing the motivation.The survey,on the one hand,used questionnaires,which were distributed in four higher vocational colleges and universities,with the teachers of professional courses in higher education as the research target.The questionnaire survey part mainly includes four parts: motivation survey,external event influencing factors survey,and basic psychological needs satisfaction survey.On the other hand,in order to further understand the factors of external events that affect the satisfaction of basic psychological needs of higher vocational teachers,this study used the interview method to interview four higher vocational teachers who had participated in different types of enterprise practice.The third part is the current situation of higher vocational teachers’ motivation to participate in enterprise practice.This part used SPSS22.0 to analyze the data of the questionnaire results.The analysis of the current situation of motivation mainly includes two parts: descriptive analysis and difference analysis.The fourth part is the analysis of the influencing factors of motivation.This part includes the analysis of factors influencing basic psychological needs,the analysis of factors influencing external events,and the analysis of basic psychological needs as a mediating factor between external events and higher vocational teachers’ motivation to participate in enterprise practice.Therefore,this study integrates the external events that directly affect teachers’ motivation to participate in enterprise practice and the events that indirectly affect teachers’ motivation to participate in enterprise practice by influencing the satisfaction of basic psychological needs,and divides all the investigated external events into external events responsible by the government,external events responsible by the school,and external events responsible by the enterprise according to the responsible parties.The external events investigated were classified into governmental events,school events,and enterprise events.Based on the current situation of higher vocational teachers’ enterprise practice and the influencing factors of higher vocational teachers’ motivation to participate in enterprise practice,the fifth part,combined with self-determination theory,puts forward strategic suggestions to enhance higher vocational teachers’ motivation to participate in enterprise practice from three aspects: government,schools and enterprises.The first is to play the role of government functions and actively create an external atmosphere;the second is to promote schools to reasonably coordinate and base on teachers’ actual needs;the third is to promote the change of enterprises’ consciousness and actively accept teachers’ practice. |
