Students with learning difficulties in mathematics(hereinafter referred to as “students with learning difficulties in mathematics”)are a common group in basic education,which has seriously affected the teaching quality of the whole basic education and the all-round development of students,especially those in junior high school,if they do not intervene as soon as possible,their future study will be seriously affected.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the causes of students with learning difficulties in mathematics in junior high school and its transformation strategies,which is also the need to realize educational equity.Firstly,this paper expounds the research background,clarifies the research significance,analyzes the research situation at home and abroad,and defines the students with mathematical learning difficulties.Secondly,using the method of convenient sampling,taking the students of Grade 8 in Grade 3 and Grade 5 in S City,and the first-line math teachers as the research objects,we designed a questionnaire by ourselves,and used the Logistics regression method to screen the influencing factors of turning into students with learning difficulties.They are students’ personal factors,teachers’ factors,family factors and social factors.Student factors:lack of solid basic knowledge,incorrect learning attitude,lack of interest in learning,lack of correct learning methods,unclear learning objectives,insufficient motivation and improper attribution;Teacher factors:poor teaching methods,high expectations of teachers,teachers’ teaching attitude to be improved,and disharmony between teachers and students;Family factors:improper educational methods,improper parental care,and failure to set a good example;Social environmental factors: the negative effects of some bad things.Finally,on the basis of expounding constructivist learning theory,optimization teaching theory and multiple intelligence theory,aiming at the problems found and existing in the research process,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to transform mathematics“students with learning difficulties”:guiding them to find out the causes of “difficulties”with a positive attitude,cultivating students’ strong will,stimulating their interest in learning,strengthening the guidance of learning methods,establishing a good relationship between teachers and students,and forming educational synergy.
