| The revised "Curriculum Standards for Moral and Rule of Law in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" issued in April 2022 focuses on cultivating students’ core competencies and emphasizing practical activities to promote comprehensive human development.In August2019,the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council issued the "Several Opinions on Deepening the Reform and Innovation of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Schools in the New Era",which pointed out that learning party history should be based on students’ cognitive development laws.When conducting "Four Histories" education in ideological and political courses,it should highlight the characteristics of different students,and it was mentioned that in junior high school,the emphasis should be on conducting experiential learning to lay a solid ideological foundation.These policies provide a basis for the application of experiential teaching method in the course of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school.At the present stage,although the experiential teaching method has achieved certain results in the application of the course "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high schools,there are still problems such as the rigid creation of situations,the mere formality of experience,and the imperfect evaluation system,which make it difficult for the course "Morality and the Rule of Law" to complete the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people.This article comprehensively uses multiple research methods such as case analysis,questionnaire survey,and interviews to conduct in-depth research on the application of experiential teaching methods in the teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high schools,which is conducive to enhancing the effectiveness of the teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" and cultivating high-quality talents for the construction of socialist modernization.The first part of this article begins with a theoretical overview of "experiential teaching method",including its connotation,characteristics,and theoretical basis.On this basis,we will explore the application value of experiential teaching method in the course of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high schools.The second part analyzes the current situation of the application of experiential teaching method in the course of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high school by combining the interviews with teachers,the data of student questionnaires and the author’s first-line teaching experience,and analyzes the reasons from the perspectives of students,teachers and evaluation system.In the third part,aiming at the problems and causes,based on the application principles of experiential teaching method,the author proposes optimization strategies for the application of experiential teaching method in the course of "Morality and the Rule of Law" from four aspects: teachers,students,evaluation system,and school system. |
