The textbook Moral and Rule of Law edited by the Ministry of Education is the latest achievement of the ideological and moral curriculum reform.It changes the old textbooks to "moral education" ignores the limitations of "rule of law" education for students and carries out civic education around the two main lines of "morality" and "rule of law".The development and change of new curriculum standards and textbooks require that teaching should be based on students' life experience,that the teaching process should pay more attention to students' personal experience,and that teaching should be "student-oriented".Experiential teaching method is a teaching method that meets the new curriculum standards and new textbooks.And it is also an important way for teachers to change traditional teaching methods and cultivate students' good moral literacy and legal awareness.However,the application of experiential teaching method in moral and rule of law courses in junior middle schools is not very mature,especially in rural areas.Therefore,exploring the application of experiential teaching method in moral and rule of law courses in rural junior middle schools plays an important role in improving the teaching level of moral and rule of law courses in rural junior middle schools.In this paper,the author takes the application of experiential teaching method in the moral and rule of law course of rural junior middle school as the research object.Firstly,the author expounds the connotation,theoretical basis and characteristics of the experiential teaching method in theory.Secondly,through the student questionnaire and interviews with teachers,the author found that there are some problems in the application of experiential teaching method in moral and rule of law courses rural junior middle school,such as the teaching situation design is simple and lacks new ideas,the teaching content is selected from the reality of life,carry out cooperative inquiry and study in form and the extracurricular practice activities are insufficient.There are also some problems in students' participation in experiential activities,such as poor consciousness,poor attitude and poor ability.According to the problems,the reasons for the problems are further analyzed.Finally,the author puts forward some improvement measures for the application of experiential teaching method in moral and rule of law courses in rural junior middle schools.In order to further improve the application of experiential teaching method in moral and rule of law courses in rural junior middle school,and improve the teaching quality and level of moral and rule of law courses in rural middle schools.
