| Junior high school is an important stage of life development and a key period for developing physical health and mental health.Junior high school students,as a group,are increasingly valued by the country and society.However,students in this stage often bear heavy learning tasks and pressure,and their inner feelings and subjective well-being are often ignored by people.Based on the social ecological model,this paper aims to investigate the current situation of junior high school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities and subjective well-being in Botou City,analyze the factors affecting junior high school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities,the grade and gender differences of junior high school students’ subjective well-being,and the relationship between the frequency,intensity,time and subjective well-being of junior high school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities.Finally,it summarizes the participation time,intensity and frequency of extracurricular sports activities suitable for junior high school students.In this paper,questionnaire survey,interview,mathematical statistics,logical analysis and other research methods,772 junior high school students in Botou City of extracurricular sports participation,subjective well-being of the investigation,and SPSS27.0analysis,the following research results and conclusions.Research results:(1)Junior high school students in Botou mainly participated in extracurricular sports activities organized by school,accounting for 37.18%,and participated for 21-30 minutes,accounting for 31.99%.21.11% participated in small intensity of not too intense exercise.The frequency of participation was mainly once or twice a week,accounting for 38.99%.29.40% of the participating projects were running,and most of the participants did not participate in extracurricular tutoring classes.The motivation of participation was mainly to enhance physical fitness,followed by sports and entertainment,and then hobbies.(2)In the social ecological model,individual factors(physiological factors,psychological factors),inter-individual factors,organizational factors,community factors,and public policy factors can significantly affect junior middle school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities(P<0.05),while individual factors(gender,grade)can not significantly affect junior middle school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities(P>0.05).(3)There were significant differences in school satisfaction,positive emotion and negative emotion in grades of junior high school students in Botou City(P<0.05),but there were no significant differences in friendship satisfaction,family satisfaction,environmental satisfaction,academic satisfaction and freedom satisfaction in grades(P >0.05).There were significant differences between male and female in environmental satisfaction,friendship satisfaction,school satisfaction,academic satisfaction and negative emotion of junior middle school students in Botou City(P<0.05),while there were no significant differences in family satisfaction,freedom satisfaction and positive emotion(P>0.05).(4)There were significant differences among the frequency,intensity,time and friendship satisfaction,family satisfaction,school satisfaction,academic satisfaction,freedom satisfaction,positive emotion and negative emotion among junior high school students in Potou City(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference with environmental satisfaction dimension(P>0.05).(5)The frequency,intensity and time of junior high school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities in Botou were significantly positively correlated with friendship satisfaction,family satisfaction,school satisfaction,academic satisfaction,freedom satisfaction and positive emotion(P<0.05).The time and frequency of extracurricular sports participation had a significant positive impact on the subjective well-being of junior middle school students(P<0.001),while the intensity of participation did not have a significant positive impact on the subjective well-being of junior middle school students(P>0.05).The intensity,time and frequency of extracurricular sports participation of junior middle school students in Botou City affected their subjective well-being(R~2=0.893,F=13.415,P<0.001).Research conclusion:(1)Botou junior high school students like to participate in extracurricular sports activities based on the school organization,like to participate in traditional sports projects,participation in extracurricular sports tutorial classes is also based on public projects.(2)The participation of junior high school students in extracurricular sports activities in Botou is affected by individual factors,inter-individual factors,organizational factors,community factors and public policy factors.(3)Botou junior high school students have a good overall happiness,but the happiness level of boys is higher than that of girls,and the second grade students are happier than the first and third grade students.(4)The frequency,time and intensity of junior high school students’ participation in extracurricular sports activities in Botou City comprehensively affect subjective well-being and have a positive correlation with eight dimensions of subjective well-being,showing a significant correlation.(5)The frequency of sports participation is conducive to improving the level of subjective well-being of junior high school students in Botou city who exercise about 3 times a week in extracurricular sports activities.The level of subjective well-being is higher when the intensity of participation is medium.The level of subjective well-being is higher when the duration of participation is 21-30 minutes and more than 60 minutes. |
