| In order to implement the important speech spirit closely related to labor and labor education,such as "Happiness is achieved through struggle" and "There is no good thing in the world that can be achieved by sitting on its laurels.To be happy,one must strive" proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping,the country has put forward new requirements for labor education in order to change the phenomenon that young people do not love labor,do not want to work,do not know how to work and do not cherish the fruits of labor in recent years,as well as that schools to some extent ignore the unique educational value of labor,and labor education is diluted and weakened.The state has put forward new requirements for labor education.In 2020,the State Council issued the latest policy to comprehensively deploy labor education in colleges and elementary schools.Higher vocational colleges,which cultivate high-quality technical and skilled personnel,should take labor education as an important content.To strengthen labor education in higher vocational colleges,it is necessary to grasp the unique teaching logic of labor education itself,highlight the characteristics of higher vocational education,and strive to exert the comprehensive educational value of labor education.This study focuses on the new era.Through collecting,organizing,and analyzing relevant literature from domestic and foreign scholars on labor education and labor education in higher vocational colleges,it grasps the current situation and trend of existing research,clarifies the connotation of relevant concepts,and conducts theoretical tracing of labor education in higher vocational colleges,as well as historical tracing of labor education in China since 1949.Based on this,this study takes five higher vocational colleges in Henan Province as the research object,using questionnaire survey and interview methods to explore and analyze the current situation of labor education in higher vocational colleges.The research results show that: at present,China’s higher vocational colleges have achieved certain results in exploring and implementing labor education,such as the gradual improvement of higher vocational students’ labor literacy,the orderly promotion of labor education teaching,and the continuous expansion of labor education implementation channels.However,there are still problems such as the inconsistency between students’ labor cognition and labor action,the imperfect curriculum system of labor education,the failure of labor culture to effectively integrate into campus culture,the imperfect evaluation mechanism of labor education,and the insufficient support and guarantee ability of labor education.Finally,the above problems are used as the guide to propose countermeasures to solve the problems: first,to innovate the concept of labor education,and clarify the goals of labor education;second,to build a labor education curriculum system and enrich the content of labor education;third,to improve the campus labor culture atmosphere and create a labor education environment;fourth,to improve the evaluation mechanism of labor education and improve the quality of labor education;fifth,to enhance the support and guarantee ability of labor education and meet the needs of labor education. |
