| Labor education is an important part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics.It plays an important role in cultivating students’ labor concept,honing the quality of their will,establishing the spirit of bearing hardships and standing hard work and promoting students’ all-round development.In March 2020,the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities,Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era,proposing the establishment of an education system featuring all-round development of morality,intelligence,physical fitness,the United States and labor,and clarifying the importance of school labor education and its implementation path.In order to better implement the "Opinions" and speed up the construction of an education system with comprehensive cultivation of morality,intelligence,physical fitness,the United States and labor,the Ministry of Education issued the "Guidelines for Labor Education in universities,primary and secondary Schools(Trial)",focusing on the connotation and nature of labor education,objectives and content,planning and implementation and other issues,requiring schools at all stages to refine relevant requirements and strengthen professional guidance.Under this background,labor education in higher vocational colleges in the new era has been endowed with new connotation and mission.Based on the research results of labor education at home and abroad,this study traces the theoretical origin of labor education in higher vocational colleges,defines the connotation of "labor","labor education in the new era" and "labor education in higher vocational colleges in the new era",analyzes the necessity of carrying out labor education in higher vocational colleges in the new era,and probes into the objectives,requirements and basic characteristics of labor education in higher vocational colleges in the new era.On this basis,taking teachers and students of higher vocational colleges in T City as the objects of investigation,the research methods of "questionnaire survey" and "case analysis" are adopted to investigate the implementation status of labor education in higher vocational colleges in the new era,and the problems existing in the process of labor education practice in higher vocational colleges in the new era are summarized and analyzed,and combined with the actual situation,the practical path of labor education in higher vocational colleges in the new era is proposed.The results show that there are five problems in labor education in higher vocational colleges: the cognition of labor education value needs to be deepened,the curriculum system of labor education needs to be improved,the teaching form of labor education needs to be enriched,the support ability of labor education needs to be strengthened,and the evaluation system of labor education needs to be improved.The reason is that students’ own labor enthusiasm and consciousness is poor,the labor education evaluation system and all aspects of the protection is not perfect,affected by one-sided ideas.Based on the above problems,combined with the characteristics of vocational education,this paper puts forward the practical path of labor education in higher vocational colleges in the new era: to help students establish correct labor values;Strengthen the overall management of school labor education;To establish and improve the curriculum system of labor education in higher vocational colleges;Innovation labor education teaching model;Improve labor education support skills;We will improve the labor education evaluation system. |
