| The primary school course ’Morality and the Rule of Law’ is a key course to implement the fundamental task of cultivating moral character during the primary school stage,aiming to enhance students’ political identity,ideological and moral cultivation,rule of law awareness and legal literacy,and cultivate a sound personality.Against the backdrop of social development and talent cultivation,as well as the need to cultivate morality and cultivate talents,the Ministry of Education of China has issued the latest version of the 2022 curriculum standards for moral and rule of law in compulsory education.In terms of leveraging the educational value of the curriculum,curriculum structure and teaching design,academic quality evaluation standards,improving curriculum guidance,and creating an integration of ideological and political courses in large,medium,and small schools,new requirements have been put forward,becoming the new guidance for the current teaching reform of moral and rule of law courses.At present,there are problems in the primary school curriculum of "Morality and Rule of Law",such as a focus on detached knowledge transfer,curriculum content detached from daily life,and single teaching methods.Therefore,how to carry out teaching reform in the primary school curriculum of "Morality and Rule of Law" based on the new curriculum standards has become a new topic.The primary school course’Ethics and the Rule of Law’ should be centered on students’ development,based on their real life,and stimulate students to independently construct moral cognition and cultivate moral behavior.In moral education,the role of the rule of law in promoting morality should be played,and in rule of law education,the role of morality in nourishing the rule of law should be played,so that moral education and rule of law education complement and complement each other.This study starts from the perspective of teaching the primary school course "Morality and Rule of Law",and deeply analyzes and explores the teaching reform of the primary school course "Morality and Rule of Law" from the perspective of embodied moral education.The content of this study is to first elaborate on the connection between the concept of embodied moral education and the new curriculum standard,in order to better understand the requirements of the curriculum concept and core competencies in the new curriculum standard of "Morality and Rule of Law" in primary schools,and how to further implement it.Secondly,through investigation and research methods,this study explores the current situation and existing problems of the "Ethics and Rule of Law" course in Y Primary School from the perspectives of teacher teaching and student feedback.Through the questionnaire survey method and Case study method mentioned above,we further explore the problems in the teaching of the current primary school’s "Morality and the Rule of Law" course.First,the unreasonable teaching arrangements affect the realization of the value of education.Second,the detached education simplifies moral education into knowledge transmission and separation from life.Third,the teaching design does not focus on students’ independent construction.Fourth,the teaching evaluation does not give full play to the role of guidance and improvement.Finally,from the perspective of embodied moral education,suggestions are made for the teaching reform of the primary school "Morality and the Rule of Law" course.Firstly,strictly implementing the teaching plan arrangement to promote the realization of educational value.Secondly,carry out "embodied" life oriented teaching and conduct "learning by doing".Thirdly,adhere to the subjectivity of students and create situational teaching.Fourthly,establish a three-dimensional evaluation model to fully leverage the teaching evaluation function.Fifth,integrate internal and external moral education resources to provide support for the primary school "Morality and Rule of Law" classroom. |
