Early childhood is the key period for the development of human life value and personality,and it is very important to carry out life education at this stage.However,the researchers found that some kindergartens have some problems such as deviation of life education concept and lack of life education curriculum in different degrees.Based on this,the researcher expects to carry out action research,transmit scientific life education concepts,summarize the teaching strategies of early childhood life education based on picture book teaching,and provide a reference basis for the practice of kindergarten life education.Following the paradigm of action research,this study takes the children of Class 2 of F Kindergarten in Guilin City as the research object and carries out a three-month action research.Before the implementation of the action study,the researchers entered the study class to investigate the level of children’s life attitude and the status quo of children’s life education,and concluded that: the life cognition of children in the big class is relatively superficial,the life emotion is relatively indifferent,and there is a negative life behavior tendency;The curriculum of life education for children in large classes lacks systematicness and wholeness,and the life education activities based on picture book teaching are too few and the form is single.The topic of "death" is a difficult problem in carrying out life education for children.Based on this,researchers and cooperative teachers jointly discussed,combined with the development level of children’s life attitude and interests,selected 12 picture books on the theme of life education,and designed three rounds of picture book teaching action plans.Each round of action plan includes four themes: human and self,human and others,human and nature,and human and life.Picture book teaching activities with one theme are carried out every week,supplemented by games,crafts,painting and other activities to consolidate and extend picture book teaching activities.Through three rounds of action research of "planning-action-observation-reflection-re-action-re-reflection",this paper discusses the effectiveness of carrying out life education based on picture book teaching by combining quantitative results with qualitative analysis,and draws conclusions and strategies for carrying out life education picture book teaching activities.The research results show that life education activities based on picture-book teaching can help improve children’s attitude towards life,which are as follows: children’s life cognition can be enhanced,life cherishing emotion can be nourished,and positive life behavior tendency can be effectively generated.In the process of action research with three rounds of spiral development,the researchers and co-teachers also explored the strategies of picture-book teaching of early childhood life education,mainly as follows: Teachers should strengthen theoretical learning and establish a scientific concept of life education;Increase the intake of picture books and explore the value of life education theme picture books;Grasp the scale of life education,reasonably formulate the objectives of picture book teaching activities;Master the teaching methods of picture books and enrich the teaching forms of life education picture books;Pay attention to detail design,enhance the interest of life education picture book teaching;Finally,we should make full use of park,family and community resources to enrich children’s life experience.Kindergartens should pay more attention and practice to the life education of children,change the concept of life education and pay more attention to the cultivation of children’s life attitude.At the same time,life education teacher training and teaching and research activities should be carried out to form systematic life education activities.
