| Artificial intelligence exists everywhere in human’s learning and life.How to improve human’s artificial intelligence literacy has become a focus of attention in artificial intelligence education.At present,the development of artificial intelligence education in Chinese primary and middle schools is at the primary stage,and there are few probing cases of artificial intelligence literacy.This paper,relying on project-based learning activities,carries out project-based learning activities of artificial intelligence curriculum in high primary schools,to promote the improvement of students’ artificial intelligence literacy and explore the curriculum teaching of artificial intelligence in primary schools.The main research and conclusions include:Firstly,according to the literature review,combined with the existing research on project-based learning,artificial intelligence education and artificial intelligence literacy at home and abroad,the development context is clarified,the theoretical basis is determined,and the project-based learning activities of artificial intelligence courses are designed in combination with the "Artificial intelligence and smart society" module in the "Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 edition)".Second,according to the teaching mode of existing research,the basic link of project-based learning.The artificial intelligence curriculum evaluation method combining quantitative and qualitative,procedural and summative is established,including "Artificial Intelligence Literacy Scale of Primary School High School Stage","Artificial Intelligence Knowledge Test Questions","Project Activity Plan Sheet",and "Artificial Intelligence Works Evaluation Form".Thirdly,carry out the teaching implementation of project-based learning activities in the course of artificial intelligence.Two classes in the fifth grade of primary school are selected to carry out educational experimental research,and the projects are clarified according to the situation introduction.Analysis task,scheme design;Principle learning,skill learning;Practice innovation,project completion;Display evaluation,summarize and reflect on five teaching links to carry out artificial intelligence course teaching.Fourth,to verify the effectiveness of artificial intelligence literacy training in the senior stage of primary school,two classes with similar levels in all aspects were selected for teaching experiments,and the collected data were analyzed to obtain:(1)The Clonbach coefficient of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Scale of Primary School High Learning Stage was 0.914,the KMO value was 0.81,and the Sig value of Bartlett’s spherical test was0.00<0.05,which proved that it had reliable reliability and validity.(2)Independent sample T test was carried out on the attitude and interest,computational thinking,programming ability,artificial intelligence application ability and moral values of the experimental class,and the P values were 0.035,0.000,0.009,0.002,0.038,respectively,which were all less than 0.05,indicating that the intelligent ability and intelligent literacy of the experimental class were significantly improved after the teaching experiment.(3)The paired sample t-test between the control class and the experimental class showed that the P values were 0.004,0.000,0.000,0.000,0.000,0.000,respectively,which were all less than 0.05,indicating that the improvement of the five dimensions in the experimental class was significantly higher than that in the control class.(4)According to the statistics of the scores of the artificial intelligence test,the mean value of the control class was 78.15,and the mean value of the experimental class was 83.94,and the P value was 0.001 less than 0.005,which showed that the intelligent knowledge learning effect of the experimental class was significantly higher than that of the control class.(5)The analysis of three rounds of artificial intelligence works,Project activity Plan Sheet and artificial intelligence works evaluation form of a small group in the experimental class shows that the students ’artificial intelligence knowledge,intelligent ability and intelligent affection have been improved.The above research results show that project-based learning activities of AI curriculum in senior primary school are beneficial to the cultivation of AI literacy of students,and provide certain reference for further promotion of AI curriculum in senior primary school and AI teaching in basic education. |
