| Critical thinking belongs to a kind of high-level thinking,which is different from ordinary logical thinking in its critical spirit and rational virtue.This study will be mainly based on the concept of critical thinking expressed by Robert Ennis.Critical thinking is rational and reflective thinking,which can help people decide what to believe and how to believe,in which deciding what to believe means to have good rational virtue and critical spirit,and how to believe requires certain thinking quality and skills.According to the requirements of curriculum standards and the proportion of teaching materials,as well as Piaget’s cognitive theory and constructivism theory,it is sufficient to show that argumentative texts are appropriate carriers for cultivating critical thinking of senior high school students.This study investigates the current situation of the cultivation of critical thinking in the reading of argumentative texts in senior high school by way of questionnaire.it is concluded that students are difficult and weak in reading argumentative texts,students lack the cultivation of critical thinking,and teachers lack the training and evaluation of thinking skills.Combined with classroom observation and teaching,the reasons for the lack of critical thinking of senior high school students are obtained,that is,the lack of long-term awareness of teaching goals,excessive reliance on multimedia in teaching and the lack of high-level thinking in teaching questions.In order to help students develop critical thinking and establish the consciousness of using critical thinking,this study holds that we should first develop students’ interest in learning and using critical thinking,starting from the transformation of emotional interest into individual interest.and in the specific teaching to cultivate critical spirit,rational virtue,training thinking skills and thinking quality.Critical spirit includes reflection and questioning,independent thinking and openness and tolerance.Through systematic teaching,we should cultivate students’ habit and spirit of reflection and query,carry out debate competitions,and conduct current review training to cultivate students’ independent thinking and open and inclusive spirit.Rational virtue includes rational humility,justice and persistence,which encourages students to look at problems in an impartial and pluralistic way.Based on the textbook text to cultivate the quality of thinking,clear language logic,understand the connotation of the text,grasp the full text point of view,from point to face to improve the quality of thinking,such as consistency,relevance and clarity.Finally,through the study of demonstration methods and evaluation skills to train students’ thinking skills,consolidate students’ understanding and mastery of critical thinking.Taking borrowlism as a teaching case,the author draws a conclusion that students’ critical thinking can be effectively cultivated and trained in argumentative text teaching,and reflects the requirements of Chinese core literacy for students.It is of practical significance to improve students’ thinking quality,learning ability and teaching efficiency of argumentative texts. |
