| In order to improve the living environment and quality of life of the poor people and fundamentally solve the problem of "one party’s soil and water cannot support one party’s people",the National Development and Reform Commission has put forward the policy of poverty alleviation relocation in inhospitable areas.Relocated children for poverty alleviation in inhospitable areas are a new group produced by the policy of poverty alleviation in inhospitable areas.In the process of relocation,the problem of community integration of relocated children has gradually become prominent,which has attracted the attention of academic circles and society.Relocated children are at a critical stage of physical,psychological and cognitive development,and are prone to the phenomenon of not adapting to the new environment,which makes relocated children become a special vulnerable group.The core value of social work,"helping others and helping themselves",is in line with the problem of relocated children.It can provide specialized services for relocated children,help them solve potential problems,and promote the integration of relocated children into the community.In this paper,the poverty-alleviation relocated children in Q community in Du ’an County are taken as the research object,and the community integration of this group is taken as the entry point.Through the research methods of questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview,the current situation,existing problems,causes and needs of relocated children in community integration are analyzed in detail after they enter the new community.First of all,this paper mainly analyzes the community adaptation of relocated children from four dimensions: self-integration,family integration,social integration and community environment integration.The study found that relocated children have some problems in the above four dimensions.The specific manifestations are: lack of self-cognition in the dimension of self-integration,low self-esteem,lack of confidence and other negative emotions;In the dimension of family integration,there is a lack of communication with parents,and parents spend less time with them.In the dimension of social integration,the interpersonal skills are poor;In the integration of community environment,it shows that they are not familiar with the community environment and lack of community participation.Secondly,this paper analyzes the reasons of community integration of relocated children from the aspects of individuals,families and communities.From the personal level,the self-adaptation ability is weak,and difficulties will inevitably occur when dealing with the new living environment;From the family level,the emotional support provided by the family is insufficient,parents spend less time with their children,and there are certain problems in the way of education,resulting in estrangement between parents and children.From the community level,the utilization rate of community resources is low,the community activities held are too formal,and the relocated children lack interaction with the community.Finally,in view of the above problems in the community integration of relocated children,the author decided to adopt the group work method to intervene in the community integration difficulties of relocated children,and carried out six group themed activities to help relocated children build self-confidence,learn interpersonal skills,improve parent-child relationship,and enhance community identity.After the end of the group,the effectiveness of the group practice was evaluated,and it was found that the relocated children’s peer communication ability was improved,parent-child relationship was improved,personal confidence and community identity were enhanced,indicating that the group work had achieved some results in the community integration of relocated children.Through this study,it is found that it is feasible for social work to intervene in the community integration of relocated children in poverty-alleviation areas,and group work to improve the community integration ability of relocated children has a good demonstration value,which can be applied to the community integration of different groups.Meanwhile,under the guidance of empowerment theory and social support theory,The group work involved in the community integration of relocated children and achieved good results. |
