The Namibian’s reformed National Curriculum for Basic Education’s implementation demands educators to be digitally competent and have positive attitudes towards the revised curriculum so that they can meet the standards and demands of the reformed education systems.School leadership aims to create an effective school environment and high academic achievements. The literature review of the study analysed the previous studies showing the significance of ICT in teaching and learning, school principals’ e-leadership orientations from different countries, and perspectives of teachers and principals on continuing professional development. Moreover, the study reviewed the literature on new digital technologies as well as the conceptual, and the theoretical framework and the knowledge gap from previous studies.School e-leadership has not been a focus of investigations and many researchers did not attempt to study it but only CPDs for school teachers that were deeply explored. This research investigated the impact of e-leadership of school principals on teachers’ CPDs of using ICT to enhance the learner’s academic achievement. The study employed both qualitative and quantitative in nature that was designed to fit into analytical data collection instruments;the researcher also applied open and closed questionnaires to primary and secondary school principals and teachers.Purposive and simple random sampling procedures was used to select the sample size.Data analysis was descriptive based on explanations and opinions from the respondents.ATLAS ti software to analyze the qualitative data while SPSS 23.0 software was used to analyze quantitative data.Thematic approach was used to form themes and topics. However, the researcher analysed the relationship between the two variables in the study to find possible solutions for the prevailing problem.Findings revealed that some educators entirely use ICT tools while some do not use at all.Effectiveness of ICT communication techniques depend on specific schools. The school principals may not mastered the usage of ICT tools in their leadership practice.Inadequate of ICT trainings and lack of funds are the major challenges indicated by the respondents. The 70% of the school principals indicated that e-leadership is essential to influence ICT usage in teaching. The study’s conclusion and recommendations were drawn based on the significance to establish teachers’ CPD of using ICT in teaching and learning and established recommendations of continuous professional training and development of school principals particularly area of e-leadership on teachers’ usage of ICT.
