In the four years of study and life of college students,the quality of interpersonal relationships will affect the overall quality of life of individuals in this period.College life is a collective life.Harmonious interpersonal relationships can make individuals feel safe and warm,and can make individuals study and progress in a more comfortable environment.Poor interpersonal relationships can affect the physical and mental health of college students,and make them feel anxious and depressed.Various studies have shown that the current interpersonal relationship status of college students in China is not healthy,so it is necessary to continue to explore and study the influencing factors of college students’ interpersonal relationship in this context.Today’s era pays more attention to the publicity of personality and the release of self,and college students who are mainly "after 00" are also more open-minded,and students pay more attention to their inner feelings and needs,which will lead to higher narcissistic tendencies.For most college students,college life is their first time to leave their family for comprehensive protection.They deal with all kinds of events in life and study alone.Whether they can adapt to this change and adapt to this new life mode is of great pnificance to their future college life.The purpose of this paper is to explore college students’ narcissism,interpersonal relationship and social adaptation’ s relationship,and to explore the mechanism of action among them.Based on the results of the survey data,design a feasible plan for group psychological counseling of college students’ interpersonal relationship.The study was divided into two stages.In the first study,633 college students were tested with the narcissism questionnaire,the comprehensive diagnosis scale of college students’ interpersonal relationship and the Chinese college students’ adaptation scale to understand the current situation of college students’ narcissism,interpersonal relationship and social adaptation and the differences in demographic variables;And the relationship between them.In study 2,a quasi-experimental depn method was adopted.Based on the results of study 1,60 college students were selected and randomly divided into two groups.The experimental group was given 10 times of group psychological counseling,and the control group was given no intervention.Through the interpersonal relationship of the subjects in the experimental group,the social adaptation level of college students was improved.After the completion of group assistance,the effect of group assistance will be evaluated by post-test.The results are as follows:(1)There are pnificant differences in college students’ narcissism in terms of gender,birthplace and grade(2)The interpersonal relationship of college students has no pnificant difference at the level of gender and student origin,but there is pnificant difference at the level of grade(3)There is no pnificant difference in the social adaptation of college students at the level of gender and place of origin,but there is pnificant difference in grade(4)Explicit narcissism has a negative correlation with interpersonal distress and a positive correlation with social adaptation.Implicit narcissism has a positive correlation with interpersonal distress and a negative correlation with social adaptation.(5)The interpersonal relationship plays a complete intermediary role in the influence of narcissism on social adaptation.(6)Adopting targeted physical and psychological counseling can improve college students’ interpersonal problems and improve their social adaptation level.
