Through the form of Interpersonal Group Counseling, the studyaims to improve relationships of college students, further expandQuantitative and Qualitative Analysis methods.This experiment was divided three groups. Nine collegestudents were chosen as the experimental group of interpersonalgroup counseling, and ten college students from another collegewere chosen as the control group of structural group counseling,fourteen college students were chosen as blank control group.Seven times’ mental test was used, such as interpersonalrelationship puzzle scale and interpersonal problem scale. Aftergroup continued twelve times once a week, we gained a few ofresults. The scores of interpersonal relationship puzzle scale(p<0.05) and interpersonal problem scale (p<0.05) in theexperimental group of interpersonal group counseling and thecontrol group of structural group counseling was significantlylower than that in blank control group. Also, The scores ofinterpersonal relationship puzzle scale(p<0.05)and interpersonalproblem scale(p<0.05)in the experimental group of interpersonalgroup counseling presented the linear decreased tendency. In the qualitative analysis, this study used ConsensualQualitative Research (CQR), encoded verbatim transcription whichcame from the experimental group of interpersonal groupcounseling, in order to confirm the effect of intervention, discussthe effect mechanism.There were three conclusions in this study. First, theinterpersonal relationships of college students were developedaccording to the interpersonal group counseling. Second, with thedevelop process of interpersonal group counseling, interpersonalrelationship puzzle and problem presented the linear decreasedtendency. Last, the level of interpersonal interaction ininterpersonal group counseling included the deeply moderateself-disclosure, the promptly proper Catharsis which was positiveand negative, the supportive and challenging feedback which wasthat we gave and is accepted by us.
