Basketball is an open sport that integrates entertainment,competition and collectivity.It plays an irreplaceable role in improving students’ interest in learning,cultivating sports behavior and developing sports skills.The "Curriculum Standards for Physical Education and Health in Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition)" emphasizes the comprehensive use of structured teaching and competition,but conventional basketball teaching often places too much emphasis on students’ learning individual skills,while ignoring the cultivation of students’ tactical awareness and the use of techniques and tactics in competitions.The Play Practice Teaching Model,as a teaching model that focuses on tactics and competition,is very suitable for innovative teaching of ball games.Based on this,this study aims to introduce the tactical competition teaching model into high school basketball teaching,and verify the differences between the tactical competition teaching model and the conventional teaching model in high school basketball teaching through teaching experiments.It’s of great significance to deepen the reform of physical education curriculum in senior high school and improve the diversity of sports skills.Using experimental methods,mathematical statistics and other methods,The experimental subjects were 106 students in 2 classes of Grade 2 in Hefei No.1 High School,Anhui Province,including 53 students in both experimental class and control class.Basketball class(experimental class)adopts the teaching mode of tactical game,while basketball class(control class)adopts the conventional teaching mode.Through a 12 week teaching experiment,this article explores the impact of different teaching modes in basketball class on physical health,basketball sports skills,and learning interests of high school students.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The teaching mode of tactical competition has a significant effect on developing students’ explosive power,cardio respiratory function,muscle strength and muscle endurance,speed and reaction ability,that is,physical health level.(2)The teaching mode of tactical competition makes good use of actual combat scenes such as competitions and confrontations in basketball teaching,which enhances students’ awareness of practical competition and promotes the improvement of basketball technical level.(3)The teaching mode of tactical competition can promote students’ interest in learning.The teaching content of the teaching mode of tactical competition is interesting and challenging.It can arouse students’ enthusiasm,arouse their curiosity and enhance their interest in learning through challenges.
