As we know,vocational school education is an important part of the whole education system in our country and undertake the important task to cultivate qualified socialist workers and builders with both morality and skills.The labor values of the vocational students not only affect their future employment,working status and all-round personal development,but also affect the quality of economic and social development of our country.Because of the lack of research on labor values in vocational schools,this study bases on the group of vocational students from J Technician College,as the research object.On the basis of the definition of labor values and related research by domestic and foreign scholars,the author has designed a questionnaire of labor values,which includes the thoughts of authoritative scholars as well as the actual situation of vocational students.The questionnaire on labor values of vocational students is designed from the four dimensions,they are labor practice,labor cognition,labor morality,and labor employment.Through the descriptive and differential analysis of the questionnaire data,adding to the in-depth interview which presents the prominent problems for vocational students from different majors,the result shows the current situation of labor values of vocational students represented by J Technician College.The data gives several major factors affecting the labor values of vocational students,including school factors,family factors and social factors.According to the existing problems,mixed with the labor-value cultivation practice that J Technician College has carried out,This study constructs a secondary vocational labor value cultivation system combining theoretical courses and practical courses.Besides,this study also explores and summarizes four paths for the cultivation of labor values in secondary vocational schools: first,the labor education through curriculum: through the development of school-based labor value cultivation resources,strive to build a labor value cultivation system combining theoretical courses and practical courses.Make full play to the role of vocational political courses,relying on the political curriculum standards and talent training programs.Discover the elements of labor value education contained in political courses,develop labor education resources.In this way,students’ labor values will be formed through the expansion tasks of political courses and the second classroom;Second,the labor education through activities,build and continuously improve the on-campus labor practice platform.Some activities can be carried out to cultivate students’ labor values,such as on-campus labor practice week,volunteer service and professional skills competition;Third,the labor education through internship,relying on the "2.5+0.5" talent training model,coordinate the resources of schools and enterprises.Make the students to take part in the on-the-job internship labor practice,and cultivate students’ labor values in internship labor;Fourth,the labor education through housework,seize the opportunity of the study-at-home,make students do more housework and practice labor value.Through the combination of the theory courses and three types of practical courses,the practical path of "school-enterprise-family" integration of vocational schools is realized through the cultivation of labor values in secondary vocational schools.
