| For a long time,education punishment in education theory and teaching practice,there are quite a controversial public understanding and the understanding toward education disciplinary influenced by some students physical events,view of education disciplinary negative,so that schools and teachers to use education disciplinary transactions really prudently.On December 23,2020,it was announced that the Rules on Educational Punishment for Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial),which came into force on March 1,2021,legalized educational punishment from the level of national policies and regulations,giving teachers the power to legally and reasonably punish students’ bad behaviors.In the front line of education,especially frontier rural primary school teachers,how to understand the promulgate of "Rules";Whether the discipline can be applied effectively and accurately according to the requirements of the Rules;What are the perplexities and problems in the process of implementing educational punishment? The author tries to solve the above problems through in-depth investigation and research.Based on the in-depth study of education punishment policies,laws and regulations,Skinner’s reinforcement learning theory and other relevant theories,this research takes a rural primary school in a town in Y City,Xinjiang Province as an example,and uses literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and other research methods.The investigation and analysis were conducted from five dimensions: teachers’ cognitive attitude towards educational punishment,teachers’ attention to educational punishment,teachers’ awareness of rules of educational punishment,teachers’ methods of punishment,and influencing factors of the implementation of educational punishment.It is found that rural primary school teachers do not pay much attention to educational punishment,the school rules and class rules about educational punishment are missing,and teachers do not use educational punishment or use the single way of educational punishment.Based on the above research,suggestions and countermeasures are put forward from the aspects of improving teachers’ attention to educational punishment,formulating rules for educational punishment in line with the actual situation of schools,and creating a social atmosphere of respecting teachers and emphasizing education. |
