At present,the teaching methods of physical education in Chinese universities are relatively single,and traditional teaching methods cannot achieve comprehensive consideration for the complex teaching scenarios nowadays,resulting in poor teaching effectiveness and declining student physique.The country has attached great importance to this and proposed to comprehensively strengthen and improve the physical education work in schools in the new era.In this context,this study focuses on contract learning method,adopts literature review method,questionnaire survey method,and so on Teaching experiment method and mathematical statistics method are used to study the application effect of contract learning method in the badminton elective course of Guizhou Normal University.The purpose is to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of contract learning method in this scenario.It is hoped that contract learning method can be popularized to badminton classroom and other sports classroom teaching,improve the teaching effect of sports classroom,and also provide reference for sports teaching in other colleges and universities.Two male classes and two female classes of badminton elective course in Guizhou Normal University were selected as the experimental subjects.There were 128 students in four classes,32 in each class.The male class and the female class were divided into one experimental class and one control class.The experimental class adopted the contract learning method teaching design,and the control class adopted the traditional teaching method design.The experiment lasted 18 weeks and36 hours.The experiment was based on physical quality,skill level,self-efficacy The interest in sports learning is used as an experimental indicator,and the results obtained after the experiment are compared and analyzed to draw the following conclusions:1.In the teaching of badminton elective courses,the contract learning method can better improve students’ physical fitness compared to traditional physical education teaching methods.2.In the teaching of badminton elective courses,both traditional physical education teaching method and contract learning method can significantly improve students’ skill level,but the improvement of contract learning method teaching skill level is more significant and better.3.In the teaching of badminton elective courses,through the contract learning method,students’ negativity,enthusiasm,skill learning,extracurricular activities,and sports attention dimensions have been significantly improved.The contract learning method has significantly increased students’ interest in sports learning.However,after the experiment,there was no significant difference in the dimension of sports attention between the female experimental class and the control class,which may be due to psychological differences between the female and male students.4.In the teaching of badminton elective course,the application of contract learning method can significantly improve the students’ self-efficacy.5.In the teaching of badminton elective courses,the application effect of contract learning method in teaching did not show gender differences except for the indicators of interest in sports learning.6.Contract learning method teaching promotes communication between teachers and students,enhances their emotions,and the transformation of their "roles" promotes the formation of a good classroom atmosphere.Putting students first in teaching,respecting their individual differences,and better promoting their comprehensive development.
