Modular teaching aims at cultivating and improving students’ operation skills.It integrates basic theory teaching with practical operation technology.Students can master corresponding knowledge and skills after completing each module task.Foreign theoretical and practical research is more mature,domestic research explored from the traditional teaching reform,the necessity of application of modular teaching,curriculum teaching and organization,implementation and evaluation.In view of this,this paper mainly understands the implementation status of modular teaching in the course of "Web Design" in secondary vocational schools through the investigation,summarizes and analyzes the current situation,finds out the shortcomings of modular teaching in the implementation process,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions according to problems existing in the implementation of modular teaching.Based on constructivist learning theory and education theory of pragmatism,this paper mainly investigates the application of modular teaching in secondary vocational e-commerce major.It adopts the methods of literature research,observation,questionnaire survey and interview survey,uses the LICC classroom observation paradigm and the teaching plan of the "Web Design" course to observe and analyze the classroom teaching and makes a series of analysis on the data collected by SPSS,explains the results of the interview,finds out the problems in the application process,analyzes the causes of the problems and puts forward specific suggestions,in order to improve the application and development of modular teaching in the course of "Web Design".Through investigation and research,it is found that there are some problems in modular teaching,such as inadequate connection and combination between modules and knowledge,single module teaching method,less practical teaching of application operation module,insufficient allocation of software and hardware resources,etc.Based on the connection of modules,teaching situation of teachers,module learning,training equipment and classroom teaching,the causes of the problems are found:the module teaching is not adjusted in time;the teaching method was not reformed according to the module teaching content;too much attention was paid to the teaching of basic knowledge;the expansion and update of software and hardware learning resources are not enough.Last,this paper proposes that the module teaching content should be reasonably organized;innovative module teaching methods;increase the proportion of practice in module teaching;update the online teaching resources timely,etc,in order to stimulate students’ interest in autonomous learning,improve students’ classroom learning efficiency,so that students can learn on their own more easily,lay the foundation for the future career development of the society,and provide reference for the future development of the school.
