The health of the floating population is extremely important for strengthening the survival of human resources, ensuring the supply of the labor market, and continuing to promote the process of new urbanization. However, the high concentration of floating population in living space is profoundly affecting the health of this group. Therefore, this paper takes the domestic floating population as the research object, uses multidimensional fixed effect model, mechanism test, heterogeneity analysis and other measurement methods, taking into account both exploratory analysis and theoretical analysis, trying to comprehensively reveal the impact of cluster living on the physical and mental health of floating population and the In order to provide scientific and technological support for human resources planning and new urbanization construction. The research mainly draws the following conclusions:1.Based on the China Family Follow-up Survey(CFPS)data of the China Social Science Survey Center of Peking University,it is found that cluster living has a significant negative impact on the overall health and physical and mental health of the floating population. On the basis of controlling the control variables at the individual level, the conclusion is still established and passed the robustness test.2.Agglomeration affects the health of the floating population through the formation of peer effects,in which health behaviors(direct health behaviors, adaptive health behaviors, and long-term health behaviors)and subjective cognition(inferiority, discrimination sensitivity)are important effect variables. It plays a strong mediating effect in the relationship between cluster residence and health.3.There are differences in the impact and path of collective living on the health of floating population in different groups and city scales. For example, the negative impact of cluster living on the health of migrant workers is greater than that of urban floating population;compared with small cities, cluster living in large cities has a greater negative impact on the health of floating population.Based on the above analysis, this paper focuses on the communities where the floating population lives, and combines empirical findings and theoretical data to try to put forward specific coping strategies around the promotion of health knowledge, optimization of medical insurance participation, and improvement of discrimination,so as to correct the health behavior and subjective cognition of the floating population, and ultimately realize the healthy growth of the floating population."...
