With the iterative upgrading of mobile internet and smart terminals,new media have emerged,bringing people a brand new entertainment experience,and the emergence and development of online short videos has further accelerated the speed and breadth of people’s information access.With its unique content presentation,technical means and operation concept,online short videos are loved by many young users,especially university students,and have become a new field to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of university students in terms of online participation,creation and interaction,and also have a profound impact on the ideology,ideology and moral responsibility of university students.The ideological and political education of college students is an important responsibility to cultivate new generations,and college students are the object and main body of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.It is an important mission and a proper duty of ideological and political education in colleges and universities to pay close attention to the values and ideological dynamics of college students and actively respond to various problems in the process of their growth and success.As a "dark horse" in the field of Internet,short video has provided a new impetus and a new platform for the rapid development and improvement of the ideological and political education work of college students,but it has also brought many potential risks and challenges.Therefore,it is necessary to absorb the valuable experience of carrying out online ideological and political education in the past,grasp the principles and laws of online short videos and ideological and political education of college students and their mutual relationship,take advantage of the situation,follow the trend,avoid the negative effects of online short videos on ideological and political education of college students,give full play to its own positive role and unique advantages,and make it an effective online space,so as to guide college students to correctly understand and This is an issue of the times that must be explored and researched in the current ideological and political education of college students,so as to guide them to correctly understand the value of ideological and political education and shape their positive and healthy ideological concepts and political character.Based on this,this paper adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interdisciplinary research method and other research methods to conduct a systematic investigation and summary of "the influence of online short videos on students’ ideological and political education and guidance strategies".On the basis of the analysis of the basic connotation and functions of short video on the Internet,the thesis takes the relevant Marxist theories as the theoretical starting point and taps into Chinese and foreign ideological resources.At the same time,a questionnaire survey is conducted to understand the current situation of the influence of online short videos on the ideological and political education of college students,to summarize the opportunities,analyze the risks and investigate the reasons,and to outline the principles and promotion strategies for online short videos to help the ideological and political education of college students.This paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter,the introductory part,introduces the research background,significance,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,research ideas,research methods and innovations of the thesis.Chapter2,combing through the relevant Marxist theoretical foundations and Chinese and foreign ideological resources and borrowings on the influence of short online videos on the ideological and political education of college students.It clarifies the operational basis of the study,brings into play the guiding role of theory and consolidates the theoretical cornerstones of this study.In the third chapter,the basic connotation and functions of short online videos are analyzed in depth,and the inner relationship between short online videos and the ideological and political education of college students is specifically analyzed,i.e.the communication content and educational content intermingle,the communication mode and educational mode complement each other,the communication audience and educational objects are coupled,and the communication influence and educational achievements are converged,so as to build up the basic theory of this study.Chapter 4 clarifies the current situation of the influence of short online videos on the ideological and political education of college students,and elucidates the opportunities brought by short online videos to the ideological and political education of college students,i.e.the positive influence in terms of educational resources,educational channels,teacher-student relationship and communication power.Explore the risks and challenges brought by online short videos to the ideological and political education of college students,namely the negative impact on the systematicity and effectiveness,ideology and relevance of the ideological and political education of college students,the discourse authority of educators and the ideological will of educated students.Further analysis of the causes of the negative influence of short online videos on the ideological and political education of college students,namely,the excessive pursuit of economic benefits by short video platforms;the slightly weak construction efforts of short online video positions in colleges and universities;the relative lack of awareness of the responsibility of family online normative education;the influence of negative factors in the social environment;and the lack of media literacy of some college students themselves.In the fifth chapter,based on the theoretical analysis and experience,we summarize and outline the principles that need to be followed for short online videos to contribute to the ideological and political education of college students,and put forward practical and concrete strategies to promote them,namely,strengthening the governmental governance of short online videos;deepening the self-governance of short online video Internet enterprises;creating a "trinity" systemic governance pattern for short online videos;and creating a "trinity" systemic governance pattern for short online videos."The systemic governance pattern of short online videos;college students should use short online videos scientifically and improve their Internet literacy in order to enhance the effectiveness of short online videos in serving the ideological and political education of college students.
