| Nowadays,informatization has become a major trend in the development of the times,and the media,as a medium for disseminating information,is also rapidly developing.In 2016,online short videos began to experience explosive growth.Online short videos are a grassroots,universal,and convenient new type of communication medium,which is an emerging platform for the public to independently share information,spread culture,interact with others,and make commercial profits.All kinds of short video APPs such as Tiktok and Tencent have sprung up,becoming the "new darling" of college students’ leisure and entertainment.However,negative political ideology,pornography,vulgarity,violence and other information are breeding and spreading in online short videos,bringing new challenges to ideological and political education for college students.At present,most of the relevant literature available is from the field of journalism,pedagogy,communication,etc.The research on "online short video+ideological and political education of college students" is relatively small.This research has important theoretical and practical significance for improving ideological and political education of college students.Therefore,exploring the adverse effects of online short videos on college students and proposing countermeasures is an inevitable requirement for optimizing ideological and political education.This article includes four parts in addition to the introduction:Part 1: On the basis of organizing relevant literature,elaborate on the connotation of online short videos,analyze the characteristics of online short videos,and organize the types of online short videos.Further analyze the content and objectives of ideological and political education,and deeply explore the commonalities between online short videos and ideological and political education.The commonalities between online short videos and ideological and political education are manifested in the intersection of the dissemination objects of online short videos and ideological and political education objects,the intersection of the dissemination content of online short videos and the teaching content of ideological and political education,and the intersection of the dissemination methods of online short videos and ideological and political education methods.The second part analyzes Marx’s theory of human and environment,media dependence theory,and the subject object theory of ideological and political education.These theories all contain the basic theories of the impact of online short videos on ideological and political education of college students,providing theoretical support for conducting this study.Part Three: Based on questionnaires and actual research,analyze the dual impact of online short videos on ideological and political education for college students.On the one hand,online short videos improve the timeliness of ideological and political education for college students,break the limitations of educational venues,enrich the methods,means,and subjects of ideological and political education,and also enrich the channels for obtaining information in ideological and political education;On the other hand,the negative information in online short videos impacts the effectiveness of ideological and political education,and the diversification of information makes it even more difficult to cultivate ideological and political education.The author analyzes the reasons behind it from four perspectives: society,short video platforms,universities,and college students: firstly,the relevant legal provisions of the country are not perfect,and the regulatory mechanism is not sound.Secondly,the management of short video platforms is out of line.Thirdly,universities are insufficient in seizing and constructing short video platforms.Fourthly,college students lack their own media literacy.The fourth part mainly proposes strategies to address the negative impact of online short videos on college students’ ideological and political education.Firstly,relevant national organizations should promptly identify and solve the problems of legal deficiencies and insufficient punishment in the field of short videos.Secondly,short video platforms should establish a correct operational philosophy.We should explore the path for ideological and political education by leveraging the leading role of mainstream media,improving supervision algorithm technology,and strengthening platform responsibility awareness.Once again,universities and ideological and political education entities should improve their ability to operate new media,build micro ideological and political classrooms,and establish the image of internet celebrity teachers to firmly establish the main battlefield of online ideological and political education;Finally,college students should strengthen their political orientation,enhance their media literacy,and practice reasonable consumption to enhance their resistance to negative short videos. |
