| Since human society has entered the "Internet +" era, education and teaching have also moved towards networking, especially junior high school information technology course,as a relatively young subject among all disciplines, shoulder the important task of leading the deep integration of network technology, computer technology, communication technology and education and teaching. However,in the actual teaching of this course, teachers stick to the old rules and use traditional methods to analyse the teaching and learning process, which has problems such as lagging feedback, single links, and inaccurate results, which is not conducive to the high-quality development of education.Learning analytics technology supported by big data is an important means of education and teaching reform, which can help educators monitor teachers’ teaching and students’ learning in real time, which is a key breakthrough to achieve smart teaching and personalized learning. Therefore, this paper takes constructivism, educational data mining, interactive layered tower, personalized teaching, etc.,as the theoretical support, relies on the Moodle teaching platform, carries out the teaching practice of information technology based on the "two learning and three segments" teaching mode, runs learning analytics technology through the entire teaching process, and provides personalized learning services for learners by tracking real-time data of their online learning behavior. This paper mainly focuses on four aspects: theoretical analytics, model construction, teaching practice and effect evaluation. In terms of theoretical analytics, the literature research method is used to sort out the research status of learning analytics technology at home and abroad, summarize the relevant theoretical basis of learning analytics technology, and discuss the feasibility and necessity of learning analytics technology applied to information technology course to lay a foundation for later experimental research. In terms of model construction, the learning status of students’ information technology course was investigated, experimental subjects were determined, and through front-end analytics of learners, learning content and learning environment, the teaching mode of junior high school information technology course based on learning analytics technology-"two empty and three segments" teaching mode-was established.Among them,"two voids" refers to the Moodle online learning space and face-to-face classroom learning space, and "three stages" refers to the three main learning stages of students’ self-study,classroom discussion and consolidation exercises.Classroom discussions are mainly face-to-face learning, and students’ self-study and consolidation exercises are mainly online learning. In terms of teaching practice, the Moodle platform is used to set up the "Information Technology" online learning course, develop interactive teaching resources, and use the independent learning method of "learning, practice, assessment and evaluation" to carry out course teaching design and implement comparative experiments. In terms of effect evaluation, the methods of statistical analytics and visual presentation are used to compare and analyse students’ online learning data from the perspectives of teachers and students and explore the learning characteristics and existing learning problems of learners from the three dimensions of students as a whole, individual students and learning content.Effectively supervise, evaluate and intervene in learners’ learning processes and provide timely feedback to improve learners’ learning quality. In order to test the implementation effect of the "two empty and three segments" course teaching mode constructed in this paper from the perspective of learning analytics, the author collected students’ academic performance and questionnaire results before and after the experiment and compared them, and the results showed that the model improved the teaching quality and learning effect to a certain extent. It can be seen that the practical exploration based on learning analytics in this paper can provide certain ideas for optimizing the teaching of information technology course. |
